FRIDAY:

I woke up at 8 and couldn't go back to sleep cause I had started my CON HIGH. So I ended up meandering around the room and debating on what to do. I didn't want to wake everyone up with my loud travel size space bags that I shoved all my shit in, so I kind of sat there till I could tell they were all awake, then ripped through them and busted out my Legacy Tenel Ka jumpsuit and ran into the bathroom to shower like a little kid on Christmas morning. CRAP, I LOVE CONVENTIONS. D:

We went down to eat breakfast at the little cafe in our hotel and while I was eating my bagel, I felt totally horrible for the people a couple tables down from us. It was a man and a woman and they were having a morning business meeting over coffee and breakfast. Sorry you had to pick one these hotels for your impromptu meeting, dudes. At least you had entertainment while you were talking business. This was also the beginning of my Costume Noise. I realized I was paranoid to sit down or stretch too much cause I was afraid my jumpsuit would split or something. There was no way it would methinks, but of course, I was paranoid. So when I would reach for something or bend down to pick something up, I would make a, "Eeeenhhhhh, enhhhhhhh" noise. It was pretty bad and I subsequently also did it in the Poison Ivy costume the next day, and occasionally in the YJK Tenel Ka costume. So putting on the Long Walk costume the last night of the con was REFRESHING and AMAZING. <3

Anyways, we put Emily's Alema bugs into the AC vent in our room while she was putting Lumiya on after breakfast and then I was all WHAT THE SHIT ARE THESE BUGS DOING IN MY VENT, a la Dark Nest.



She got ready and we went out and putzed around, gravitating towards the tenth floor of the Marriott cause no one is ever up there and we wanted some okay costume pictures before everything got messed up. We also took some later near our room in our picture spot and in the office building near the Marriott, which I will all include right here.

I LOVE ASHLEY AND EMILY FOR TAKING PICTURES. My mom is all, "YOU BETTER TAKE A BITCHLOAD OF PICTURES OF YOUR COSTUMES THIS YEAR CAUSE YOU NEVER TAKE ANY. D:" And the two of them helped me achieve this goal for my mother. Hehe~ XD

We met up with Erin, Jeremy and Ronnie and went to the Dealer Room/Exhibitor's Hall. We found a cute booth in the dealer room where this guy had drawn all these little cards. Here is his site and some of the cards. I got a few and was all I HAVE TO COME BACK, which I did another day and bought more. Heee. A girl I passed said she liked my costume while we were in there and I didn't know if she knew the character or just liked the costume but I got all gushy and was like, "OMG THANK YOU <3~~"

As we meandered around the Dealer Room, I saw a tall redhead, except it was a wig and this was when I realized it was Kyle (prix_etoile!) and we were all WAIT WE KNOW THEM HURRRRR. So we all meet in the middle of an aisle and try to force ourselves to the side and the first thing I say to Kyle is, "DAMN, YOU'RE TALL." Not, "omg hi!" or "omg we finally meet heehee!" just "DAMN, YOU'RE TALL." I lose at life. XD So we talked to the Kyle and Cati and Jenny and Sarah for a bits and this is when we learn Linh's plane is late. D: WTF planes this weekend. We threatened them by way of, "WE'LL SEE YOU LATER!!11 MOAHHAHAHAH!" and continued to wander. When we got up to the Exhibitor's Hall, we lost Erin, Ronnie and Jeremy cause I got sidetracked by a Sam Winchester poster. Seriously. Sam Winchester.

I know this picture is not from the convention BUT MY BASEMENT LIKE THREE MINUTES AGO -- look at my JACEN SOLO WALL. sfdjksfdjklsfdjkfsdfhudsfhsd sdfsdijf hur. And the clock that has always been stopped at like 8:50. D:



So I bought the poster and the 2008 Supernatural calendar and then we meandered around a bit more. We ate lunch at the food court and I had Subway because I love Subway and then it was back to wandering. Hehe~ Now, a couple times throughout the day we passed this girl. And she had long, straight brown hair and a jumpsuit on. On one pass I glanced at her while crossing the street, like, "No, I'm just seeing things." The second time we passed her, Jason noticed a lightsaber. The third time I saw her was in the Hyatt, passing her on the escalator going up while she was going down and I saw a Rogue Squadron patch on her jumpsuit. I was like THAT'S IT. And I got to the top and we decided to chase her down. So we're all dodging people and shit and I get up to her and tap her on the shoulder and ask to get a picture with her -- she looks down at my outfit and was like OMG and then we fangirled and Jason walked up looking all GAGGY and EVIL and she squeed and said that was awesome and we got a picture with her. And I love her. And I look like A TOOL in it. D: BUT STILL. XD



I finally got a hold of Josh cause we needed to take Team Takeo Star Wars pictures of DOOM and so we all met up by TRENDY PULSE HAR HAR. And we took pictures! OMG JOSH IS JASON'S UNCLE. And then we were like HAHAH JASON AND JASON AS JACEN AND BOBA FETT. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.





Damon was all kinds of incredible as Chef. I even ate one of his Chocolate Salty Balls -- which looked and tasted mysteriously like mini-Oreos. And then all the Jedi and Sith and bounty hunters came up and were like NO STFU CHEF!




We decided it was time to change but not before taking a few more pictures. Hehe~ hello emo! These are all the ones we took up by our room and can be seen above in the batch of LOTF costume pictures. XD

I changed into civilian clothings, yo. A pair of capris and my Lisey's Story shirt (BOOL! THE END! <333) and then we putzed around and decided to go eat dinner. We met up with Ronnie and Erin and Jeremy at TRENDY HIGH VELOCITY and sat down for some din-dins! And holy crap, they had Electric Lemonade! So of course, I got one and then Jason and I split this massive thing of spinach and artichoke dip and it was so damn good. This is where we started talking about all kinds of D*C related things and that always leads to the Cruxshadows. And we realized that in most of his pictures he's looking evil with his eyes and elongating the space between his lips and nose. And this could only lead to something bad - and by something bad I mean all of us trying to imitate him - hence the intro pictures from the last post. But you know, they're so awesome they must go here again. So a collage of Rogeoooeueue for you and the two pictures of Ronnie and I laughing cause we couldn't hold the face. D:

Kyle, Cati, Linh (who showed me her NEW UNIBOOB), Jenny and Sarah came to visit our room later and we sat around and blabbed SW and Sarah told us about the awesome Russian Star Trek fanfilm on D*CTV which we hadn't seen yet but sounded totally awesome. Then Sarah and Jenny and Linh had to leave to go to bedz so they could parade early the next morning -- which was smart of them, cause I bet half the people in the parade were hungover and drunk and tired. XD We rounded out the night by playing Apples to Apples and Cranium (POP 5 EDITION HOY HOY) with Kyle and Cati (djcati!) Much fun was had by all, including a round of Cranium with everyone (Ashley, Emily & Cati) against the Solo/Djo family (Jason, myself and Kyle -- who always RP Jacen, Tenel Ka and Allana -- pretty much all the time D:). Here is a happy portrait below! Allana is growing out of Tenel Ka's head! And look! An extra arm! Also, when Allana went for a bathroom break, Jacen made Mommy dedz and hid her in a hallway but her Force Ghost came to help finish the game! Oh hay!

This is where get_wessed came into play. The CLOODLE section in Cranium (and Tenel Ka drawing Allana a Tauntaun farm D:) gave us all these horrible ideas about a sort of Shoebox Project Star Wars kind of thing, which a number of us had tossed ideas around about before, but now we actually jotted ideas down. And by jotted I mean passed notes back and forth in the room after the games. Which was highly amusing. And I have them all sitting on my desk.

Wessed was the verb of the weekend. Much like, "WES YOU" or "YOU JUST GOT WESSED" or maybe "I WILL WES YOU UP" -- stuff like that. And when we couldn't think of a name for this LJ thing, Wessing was the obvious choice. And now we all just need to discuss and figure out what to put on it. Hehe~ (CHAT TO DISCUSS MAYBE? CHAT? Y/N?) INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TO WATCH THE WESSINGS. Sorry, I just like using it now. XD

After they left to go crawl in their beds, we did the same and rejoiced by watching our Dragon*Con TV channel, which was finally working. YAY STAR TREK FANFILMS WITH SPOCK!!11
