I figure setting things up way in advance is better cause if it's not set up then you get to the con and try to call people like, "ARE YOU WEARING IT NOW, WHEN ARE YOU WEARING IT? I HAVE TO FIND YOU ARE YOU WEARING IT" and then things get screwed up. This has happened to myself and friends numerous times. This is why I'm trying to figure out a costume schedule LIKE FIVE MONTHS IN ADVANCE. XD

I LOVE THIS GAME. And yeah, I was playing it in the game room at Katsucon even though I have it at home. I played with rumminov while we were dressed like Zoey and a Hunter, lol. <3333 And then I played again at around 4:30 in the morning this morning by myself for a bit then Ronnie came over and him and I tried to beat the Dead Air finale but we couldn't even do that cause we were so out of it. XD

KATSUCON WAS A BIG YAY~ except for, you know, being absolutely disgustingly sick this morning. Momma and Duane came and picked me up around 11 (I walked through the lobby full of done up and fancy costumed people in my PJs and my Hunter hoodie, all of which I am still wearing right now lol) and I got home and passed out for six and half hours. I still feel pretty beat, but I ate some crackers (but not animal crackers like last night teeeehehehehehehehehehehehe).

KATSUCON. TODAY. I AM HOME. Erin and I will be heading over there around 4 (with everyone else heading over later), most likely stopping by Shoppers first for some food substance. BUT YEAH.

Costumes: (Femme!)Jack Frost [Persona/Friday night], Joshua Shepherd [Silent Hill: Homecoming/Saturday morning], Hunter [Left 4 Dead/Saturday afternoon & night]... and then Erin and I will have our super awesome costumes for the dance lololololololol.

Roomings: Two suites (at Katsucon rate!, since it's the same hotel as Anime USA, this means we will still get WEIRD BATHROOMS THAT DON'T LOCK). Costume Superdome contains Erin, me, Beth & Roger. Party Room contains Jeremy, Ronnie, Andre and Alex. Guess whose room will be messier.

People I need to see: hitosyura (djfaksfjsd texting when I get there!), rumminov (this is funny cause we were apparently in a Jet Set Radio cosplay picture of group doom together the year before last at this same convention - SMALL WORLD XD), Jonci, Jonathan, ES & VY -- five of which I actually have phone numbers for OH SNAP (STOP. HARASSMENT TIME). Oh, and of course any and all members of Team Takeo making an appearance cause it wouldn't be right if we didn't see them (ESPECIALLY AT THE DANCE).

Stuff to do: BESIDES DANCE? Video games. Run around. Take pictures. Dance. See people. Lounge in the room (where hopefully no creepy dudes come in randomly again). Buy swag. Dance. People watch. Stay up till 5 a.m. with glow sticks then come in and collapse on the couch. Stand by the water dispensers and continously drink and nod your head at people. Dance. Make signs for the bathroom that say OCCUPIED with a censored naked stick figure on them. Watch some TV. Admire our balcony. Watch Andre threaten to climb over to the other balcony. Take more pictures. Order pizza. Eat ramen. Watch creepy people hand out free Pocky to unsuspecting youngsters. Dance some more.

You know, it'll be like Anime USA except bigger. LOL.

The USC marching band (all wearing tour shirts lol), 15 Step (<3), it made me giddy. Also, Thom's hair actually works like that. It looked good (I never ever lost my crush on Thom Yorke... ever).

Alright, so there was a question on a message board that sparked my interest -- What is your favorite theme park/carnival ride?

While I would be tempted to answer this with a flat-out roller coaster (SUP APOLLO'S CHARIOT HOLLA), I can't do it. My favorite ride ever in the entire world is by far Space Mountain at Disney World. I love it with all my heart and they're putting it into rehab this April and fixing it up and making it all fancy and I'm so excited.

I still need to finish my Disney report from like October 2007, lol. But in that part of the report is when we got stuck in Space Mountain with the lights on. I swear I was like a little kid in a candy store. It was GLORIOUS.

Plus, I am a fangirl of Tomorrowland and futuristic things in general -- so going into Space Mountain and bounding down the corridors like I'm in some space station waiting to board a damn ship with the ambient music and the announcements and the stars overhead. JFDIFJDISFJ SDIFJSFKJ DK: LOVE.

(And the feeling of being scared that I will hit my hands on the track around me makes me absolutely giddy.)

The best is sitting in the back and turning around while riding it. LOOOOOOOVE.

A goal o' mine. To ride Space Mountain at Disney World, Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Disneyland Resort Paris (where it is called Space Mountain: Mission 2) and Tokyo Disneyland. Look at how pretty it looks at Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland Resort Paris. <3333 Looooooooove.

LOL, I like how it goes from happy Jack Frost on Friday to GROSS GROSS GROSS on Saturday. I was going to wait till Dragon*Con for the first appearance of the Hunter costume, but I can't wait. It will be warm and toasty in the February weather and it'll be so much fun. XD

Ashley and I played Left 4 Dead last night with a guy from Japan and he was a total sweetheart (and you know I was gushing the whole time, especially whenever he would start talking in Japanese) and thanking us for everything. In his bio on his LIVE profile he says he can understand simple words in English and Ashley and I were squeeing whenever he would go "SMOKER SMOKER~!" or "BOOMER!" and I lost it when we killed a Tank and he went, "YATTA!"

And also during the finale of Dead Air when we hit the radio button and Francis was dawdling and he just starts going, "COME ON, FRANCIS! FRANCIS!"

SO AWESOME~ <3 I wish we always got people that cool and polite in public campaigns. D:

This weekend is Anime USA and I know I'm bringing Poison Ivy. I'll probably also bring Henry Townshend. Simple and comfortable outfit, plus I get to carry an axe and chocolate milk (and possibly the Eileen Barbie in my shirt XD). Although, I was thinking about bringing some makeup and being Sacrament 21 again. Cause that was fun and it's getting close to Halloween, so maybe busting out the nasty at the convention this weekend might be fitting. But knowing me, I will be lazy and just bring Henry. XD

Speaking of costumes... I think this is what Dragon*Con 2009 will look like. And of course, the list will probably change a trillion times before then. (Although, the list I posted after D*C 2007 of what I would wear at D*C 2008 was surprisingly almost spot-on. :D)...

So I'm making a fanmix. And I usually try to keep my fanmixes to the point where they can fit on a cd (so under 80 minutes) -- but this one is at 82 and all the songs are so damn perfect that everytime I click on one to take it off the list I'm like, MEEEHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOO. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

I made threads for the Clue costume group (here!) and the EU SITH PROJECT RUNWAY GROUP (here!) -- for D*C '09! It's always good to start early! MUAHAHAHA~ (341 days left!)

Okay, so that post earlier got me thinking about other crap and suddenly I was thinking about costumes.

So this group - no one would know wtf we were except us, but that's okay, cause we would know and we would still look incredibly awesome.

I was thinking of Zekk and Kyp all darthly and crap, right? Well, what about all of our favorite EU characters as MEGA EFFING SITH LORDS? LIKE CAEDUS WAS PLAYING KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC 2 WITH HIS LIFE AND MAKING EVERYONE EVIL.

Everyone picks an EU Jedi/Force-user/etc. and basically designs a Sith outfit for them (lol star wars project runway what). I mean go all out and detailed too -- like we all have Sith contacts and lightsabers and crap.

How hot would it be to have an EU group of usually sexcellent characters all badassed out and stuff. And come on, if there's three Sith Solo kids -- YESSSSS. Also, WE NEEDS A SITH KYLE KATARN. AND A ZEKK. AND A KYP. (Obviously, a Jacen would make a Caedus outfit and be Caedus, LOL~)

And yeah, I know some of these characters would never go Sith, blah blah. But SO WHAT. JACEN SOLO WOULD NEVER GO SITH, RIGHT? :|

(I'm thinking black snakeskin and dominatrix boots for TK. MUAHA~ Also, methinks Sith!Tenel Ka wouldn't hesitate to get a replacement arm -- the more hands to choke/bitchslap/force-push you with, dude, the better. SHE NEEDS NO REMINDER OF HER MISTAKES. SHE = BITCH.)

dsjfkadjfkasdjfk i am angry right now. I got my hair colored and cut earlier, which is good -- I love the way it looks. But the angry came when I got home and started more work on my TK Queen dress. Cause you know, I'm a total procrastinator and waited until the last minute to work on it (my most difficult costume, naturally). There's gathering and loops and all kind of shit in it that just frustrates the hell out of me. A part on the top got screwed up and I can't find my extra material and I started tearing the seams out and it got fucked up and I got fed up and I was working on it until I started shaking from hunger.

After shoving my face with a put-together-in-2-seconds dinner, I sat back down and looked at it and then shook my head and got up and walked into the living room with some cookies to watch Bridezillas. :|

So unless there's a miracle, the Queen Tenel Ka dress isn't coming to D*C this year. Tempest Tenel Ka still is though. XD

At least my hair looks hot. And at least I'm not a raging stupid bitch like these chicks on Bridezillas. Ohmigawd, these women are HORRIBLE.

I am very excited. Last night, my darling friend of bestness Erin (omicron1337) basically sat down and made a whole kickass Maid Marian cloak in the length of Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I was fretting about making it and the time left before the con along with all the other costume crap I still have to do. So I was like OMG ERIN CAN YOU HEPLMEPLZ and then last night Jeremy, her and I sat in her basement and put the movie on and she made a Whole Damn Cloak in like an hour and a half with no pattern and I LOVE HER FOR IT. It is amazing. So all I need to do to it is hem it and that is DONE! :D

So I only have a few little things left to do on all my costumes except for the Tenel Ka Queen dress, which I worked on like all day. The dress still needs a lot done to it (like being all put together, LOL) but I got the part I'm all yay giddy about almost done. I mentioned it awhile back here... so I will have the dress, which is going to be a really dark blue... and then recalling the Official Symbol of the OMG Hapes Consortium:

This cape thing. It'll be hanging off of my left shoulder. Therefore it serves two purposes -- actually three. One, QUEEN MOTHER WUT LOOK AT TEH SYMBOLAGE. Two, the semi-hiding of the left arm. Three, to counteract the godet in the bottom of the dress on the right side, which is made up of the three middle colors on the cape.

The blues aren't exactly the same, but really, I was just going for the FIVE BLUE idea and not an OMG EXACTLY EXACT REPLICA OF EXACTING. XD And I obviously still need to iron it and all that jazz, but I am really excited about it for some reason. O_o

I also didn't put the yellow on it -- cause ew. Come on now.

Hehe. So Saturday night, Ronnie and Alex came over and we sat around and ate pizza and watched The Chipmunk Adventure. If you've never seen that movie, you're missing out. I want my own Alvin and the Chipmunks (AND CHIPETTES) dolls with diamonds in them. I had forgotten how creepy the bad guys were, but I had definitely not forgotten my favorite number -- when Alvin, Simon and Theodore sing Wooly Bully for the natives and make the poles they're tied to start dancing. MAGIC, I TELL YOU. Also, when Alvin offers them his "shoesies~"

We also realized there is no way that movie would fly today. There are so many things that people would get all offended over and come on now, it's the effing CHIPMUNKS.

(I also never knew Simon was the oldest chipmunk. I always thought it was Alvin cause he was the "leader" -- except he wasn't using his age for leverage, I guess. He was just being a little asshole. XD)

Also also. Jeanette + Simon = OTP.

After that we randomly played stuff until midnight when we decided to take a trip to Ronnie's to get one of his 360 controllers and his guitar -- then we went to the creepy 7-11 (where everyone knew Alex's name, thanks to his awesome nametag) and talked on the way back about how many damn people were there. We started a band on Rock Band named Socially Awkward (which has a very "awesome" logo showing the danger of... cutting roses?) and my arms hurt like a bitch cause I was on drums. I was only playing on easy too. :|

We got online with all the twelve year olds around 3 A.M. to play Gears of War, and switched to Grand Theft Auto when GoW only had a bunch of elitist, snotty assholes playing it. GTA was much better and Alex was able to run around and play deathmatch with a billion people. And race helicopters.

There should be hot air balloon races though. Or just hot air balloons in general, cause the Chipmunks Adventure taught us a lot about hot air ballooning.

I think I might make brown boot covers for my black Tenel Ka boots and just wear those for zombie!Shmi -- I'm gonna be wearing a long skirt anyways so it's not like they'll have to look awesome. Plus that means I will have to bring one less pair of boots! Which actually means I will only have ONE PAIR OF BOOTS TO BRING TO D*C. WHAT? WHAT THE HELL? USUALLY IT'S LIKE FOUR. OMG. Well, okay, I'd probably be bringing three this year (black TK boots, brown YJK TK boots for Shmi and a fun pair to wear when not in costume). So scratch the YJK brown ones for Shmi and I will just have the black TK ones and a fun yay pair. SO TWO.

... THAT'S BETTER THAN FOUR.

OKAY. So Dragon*Con is now 28 days away and I'm currently flipping my shit. I still need to remake the asscape (<333) for Tempest Tenel Ka, make the Whole Damn Tenel Ka Queen dress (why do I have a bad feeling about getting that done) and the Whole Damn Maid Marian cloak. Good news: Peter had gotten a lot more bloody and Lisey's towel and garland are done. Therefore, DONE: Peter McVries, Chris Chambers, Lisey Landon, Little Sister -- ALMOST DONE BUT NOT QUITE: Shmi Skywalker (need to rip up and BLOODIFY), Tempest Tenel Ka (asscape!) -- NOT DONE: Queen Tenel Ka (the ideas for this are SO YAY THEY MAKE ME HAPPY but I need time to get them done, so we'll see if it actually happens), Maid Marian (I believe the cloak will be half-assed and not a pattern).

I will be making an update to The Death Stars site this weekend (and probably the last before D*C), so if you still want in on the group SEND ME YOUR PROFILE INFO (aka drop a comment here with it or respond with it in this thread). So then I can make the final updates on the profile section and once the convention is over turn the site into a YAY LOOK AT US BEING DUMB IN THESE PICTURES, like the Mission to Myrkr site turned into once CIII was over. :D

So on the left we have the three Long Walk numbers, which will be recycled this year, the boy scout pack (which will be used for both my Peter McVries costume and Ashley's Gordie LaChance costume), the little box on top of that is my CANDY CIGARETTES (<3333!) for Chris Chambers (since ew real cigarettes D:), the gold tiara for Maid Marian, the belt/canteen/pouch for Peter McVries, the shovel for Lisey Landon, the bloody yellow afghan square for Lisey Landon (I LOVE YOU EMILY <333), TENEL KA LIGHTSABER OMGOMGOMGOGM, the bloody axe for Ashley's Annie Wilkes costume, the GHETTOBLASTER for the Zel twins and then at the bottom is my ADAM needle for my Little Sister. This pile is missing the crazy flower garland for the Lisey costume.

I am still pissed about Rachel Weisz not being in the third Mummy movie, but I am gonna have to see it on the big screen. Good cheese fun! Brendan Fraser, Jet Li, Michelle Yeoh = automatic love (Luke Ford and Isabella Leong are bot HOT as well). Also, John Hannah always kicks ass in the Mummy movies and gets The Best Lines. Looks like he's getting them in this one too. XD I guess I will reserve judgement on Maria Bello until I see her as Evelyn and I will try not to be too bitchy from the get-go. But no one can kick ass as Evie as well as Rachel -- that is like her character.

Plus, THE TERRA COTTA ARMY. And omg YETI. ksdjfkajsfdksjdfkjdfkjsdfkjdkj~

SO I WENT TO THE CRENTIST DENTIST TODAY. AFTER FIVE YEARS. No cavities! :D They did a crazy cleaning though. Then for the fluoride I got to bite down on this mouth thing that had the stuff in it -- it looked like hair mousse and tasted like mint and it seriously looked like I was foaming at the mouth with rabies or something. D:

My back feels a little better. I wasn't really paying attention to it today cause I was so paranoid about the dentist -- but I think it's getting there. I also managed to bloody up my Peter McVries shirt a bit more. My bullet hole will definitely have to be on the left this year. Hehe~ I love how four of my eight costumes require me to be gross and bloody (zombie!Shmi, Peter McVries, Lisey Landon & Little Sister). Luckily the other four (the Tenel Kasasasasasasas, Chris Chambers & Maid Marian) require me to be clean (and only one of those four require me to BE A MAN, HUG IT OUT BITCH~)... heeeeee.

And I want to have Sam Sparro's babies. Especially for this song. And "Pocket" and "Black and Gold"... but mostly this one.
