Random news of the day. Disney bought Marvel. I'm down. All the Marvel fanboys on the web are flipping cause they think Disney is gonna mess up (and "kiddy-fy" as some dude put it) their precioussssss. Which, come oooonnnnnn. Disney owns all kinds of companies and never ever sticks their fingers anywhere in said companies businesses. I mean, if you look at it -- Disney owns Miramax and they owned them when Miramax put out PULP FICTION and TRAINSPOTTING. Disney sure didn't force Miramax to "kiddy-fy" those, if I'm remembering my blood, drugs and curse words correctly. So I don't think all these fans up in arms have anything to worry about. Sure, Disney has dropped Jonas Hos and Hannah Skanktana on us and stuff, but I can't even begin to list all the awesome things (plus, JUST PIXAR IN GENERAL LOL). And Disney World. <3

So yesterday I cleared slavers out of the Lincoln Memorial, stole some artifacts from the Museum of History, put the dish of the Virgo II Lunar Lander on the Washington Monument and set off the most elaborate trap in a grocery store to get a missle launcher and some bottle caps. Oh oh oh, I also found two cannibal families in Andale (ANNANDALE XD -- ONE LADY MENTIONED SPRINGFIELD AND I FLIPPED OUT)~ Hello, Fallout 3. I love the times when we hang out and I shovel ramen into my system for dinner and wash it down with a glass of milk while I'm wandering around your barren wastelands.

ALL I NEED TO DO IS PAINT MY HAN BLASTER. AND FINISH PACKING. :O

(And Mace/winduland has a costume for D*C. He needs a medkit though. XD)

STAR WARS DANCE OFF.

Erin and I flipped out so hard when we stumbled across this while taking in the SW festivities at Star Wars Weekends. I had seen the Hyperspace Hoopla before but never with a DANCE OFF. THERE WAS AN EWOK DOING THE MC HAMMER DANCE IN THE AUDIENCE NEAR US. LOOK AT CHEWBACCA'S GLASSES. AURRA SING IS A FUCKING SPICE GIRL (and Amidala has to be burning dancing in the Florida heat in that outfit OMG). <3

Amidala and Vader dancing together made me giggle so hard. Also, Zam, Ahsoka and Aurra dancing to Single Ladies.

The USC marching band (all wearing tour shirts lol), 15 Step (<3), it made me giddy. Also, Thom's hair actually works like that. It looked good (I never ever lost my crush on Thom Yorke... ever).

Alright, so there was a question on a message board that sparked my interest -- What is your favorite theme park/carnival ride?

While I would be tempted to answer this with a flat-out roller coaster (SUP APOLLO'S CHARIOT HOLLA), I can't do it. My favorite ride ever in the entire world is by far Space Mountain at Disney World. I love it with all my heart and they're putting it into rehab this April and fixing it up and making it all fancy and I'm so excited.

I still need to finish my Disney report from like October 2007, lol. But in that part of the report is when we got stuck in Space Mountain with the lights on. I swear I was like a little kid in a candy store. It was GLORIOUS.

Plus, I am a fangirl of Tomorrowland and futuristic things in general -- so going into Space Mountain and bounding down the corridors like I'm in some space station waiting to board a damn ship with the ambient music and the announcements and the stars overhead. JFDIFJDISFJ SDIFJSFKJ DK: LOVE.

(And the feeling of being scared that I will hit my hands on the track around me makes me absolutely giddy.)

The best is sitting in the back and turning around while riding it. LOOOOOOOVE.

A goal o' mine. To ride Space Mountain at Disney World, Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Disneyland Resort Paris (where it is called Space Mountain: Mission 2) and Tokyo Disneyland. Look at how pretty it looks at Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland Resort Paris. <3333 Looooooooove.

I know he's Han and he jokes all the time and crap -- which I'm sure was exactly what this was -- but joking about his DEAD/MENTALLY LOST SONS to his daughter who is HOPING TO GO SLAUGHTER THE REMAINING SOLO BOY-CHILD? I know I went to Disney World back in October of 2007(!), but a May pick-me-up of picspammage and yays is needed right now. D: IT'S LIKE SIX+ MONTHS LATE! But it's a way to relive the magic, bitches! Disney World report!

So the morning I left for Florida, my oldest cat (Stardust -- but we ended up always calling her "Big Kitty" <3) died. She was 20 years old and we got her when I was like a tiny little thing. So it is weird at the house without her. :(

Florida was good, my stomach is bothering me still a little. I had a really bad headache last night a couple hours after I got home from the airport and ended up going to sleep at 10pm.

The good though was that my Dad and the gang are doing good, Sea World was very fun (stingray feedings = <3) and we got to go to one of the Pirate & Princess Parties at the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday night, which was awesome and so cute. So I will have pictures and junk soon. The reports from the October Disney trip are almost done too. So there will be those as well. Hehe.

I'm going to take a nap now. D:

Yay stuff on ebay! I'm getting rid of a lot of my manga (Kingdom Hearts JP & EN, xxxHolic, Soul to Seoul) and other random junk. Also, the two Runaways Digests I haven't even looked at (since I read the comics). They have been sitting on my shelf and I kept telling them I would read them again and I haven't. I'm sure there is a better home out there for all this stuff. And I still have my 23423984 issues of Battle Royale manga to put up as well as a Panic! At the Disco shirt and a Boondock Saints shirt. Last night I got lazy and stopped after the last couple of things. XD

I am so happy about it FINALLY GETTING NICE OUTSIDE. IT IS OCTOBER. IT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE 85 DEGREES. D: And now it's 60! This is Silent Hill weather, yo! Breezy and cool and cloudy! TIME TO BUST OUT THE JAMES SUNDERLAND JACKET. XD

And Brendan Fraser is looking mighty fine. The belts and the gloves! HEART.

Seriously, this is the best photo opportunity ever since this stupid kid is IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM in the game. XDDDD I can ride all the rides and look stupid like the kid! And collect stars and help MICKEY START THE PARADE BY COLLECTING THE STUPID KEYS. AND THROW STUPID CANDLES AT THE GHOSTS IN THE HAUNTED MANSION. YESSSSSSS.

But I did put the DVD in and skip to the hallway scene to see if Stark said it AND HE DID. AND IT IS PRICELESS THE WAY HE LOOKS AT THE GUY. "Murder. Want some?"

And goodness, Thad Beaumont is hot. He's not like scrawny goth/pretty-boy hot or buff, manly-man Supernatural hot -- he's like that perfect husband material hot. (It was so hard to skip the scene where he was getting ready to go teach and fixing his hair in the mirror. :|) He's the guy you could actually see taking the kids to the park or fixing the gutters when they're leaking. If you... forget about... the serial killer alter-ego/twin thing going on. And the murderous, ravenous sparrows. D:
