In other animation news, The Clone Wars has a rating of 18% on Rotten Tomatoes and placed third in the box office on it's opening weekend. Hahaha, I should feel bad cause I'm a Star Wars fan. But I don't. Trying to milk me for money with something we've pretty much already seen in an era I've lost all interest in -- plus making the Expanded Universe more of a place to LOL WHAT? HAHAH at than it has ever been (which is really hard to do) -- I think on my FAVORITE FANDOM LIST OF FANDOMY THINGS, Star Wars has moved down a couple places.

You know, cause it needs to make room for real stories and storytellers taking place in eras and times I give a shit about with characters I actually like who don't die for really lame and lazy reasons (redemption for a family member? what the hell is that? EVEN THOUGH FOR VADER IT WAS PERFECTLY ALRIGHT). Fandoms like Bioshock (2 and movie, WHAT), Silent Hill (Silent Hill: Homecoming!) and Stephen King (Just Past Sunset and Under the Dome!). Oh man, but Stover still owns it. He's like holding Star Wars up by himself on the fandom list here. That's a big pile of crap to hold up too.

I mean, Star Wars was on one of the movie channels a couple weeks ago and I was like, "UGH, HAN AND LEIA YOU GUYS EFFING SUCK IT. MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE PARENTING CLASSES OR SOMETHING. OH GOD THERE GOES BOBA FETT INTO THE SARLACC PIT WHERE HE REALLY SHOULD'VE DIED." So yeah, thanks LotF for doing that to one of my favorite movies. :(

That's not to say I completely disown it though. I mean, there are still things I like. Tenel Ka, Zekk, Kyle Katarn, Kyp, Lando, Republic Commando (the game), Knights of the Old Republic, Battlefront, Dark Forces, The Outlander Club (I would spend all my time in there), Hapes, Nar Shaddaa, Coruscant, Dathomir, Luke Skywalker (in the movies), Chew-effing-bacca, Nightsisters, Traitor, Star by Star, the Strike Team, Darth Caedus (kind of, I guess), Allana, that chapter of The Joiner King, Tenel Ka's arm, Taryn and Trista Zel -- and of course Jacen Solo, when he was still a make-sense type of character. Also, Jacen Solo in a skirt (Vector Prime). Not to be confused with Questionably Clothes-less Jacen Solo (Traitor) and Vong Robeskin + Amphistaffs Jacen Solo (also Traitor -- come on, Stover knows where it's at).

See, there are things I still like. But this post-LotF stuff and all this Clone Wars crap just has me = "WAIT, THERE'S NEW STAR WARS NEWS? I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION, SORRY."


P.S. HEY. PERSONA 4. DECEMBER 9TH. MAKING GLASSES SEXIER THEN THEY ALREADY ARE! :D

The glasses, given by Kuma, play an important role in the game, and allow the party to see through the heavy mist inside Mayonaka TV and decrease stamina loss. Apparently Kuma himself does not need a pair. The pistol-like Evokers of Persona 3 are replaced by tarot cards, which the main characters shatter in order to summon their respective Personas.

I kind of think the glasses are sexier than the evokers. I guess they look sexier than shooting yourself in the head. XDDDD (ksjdklafjskjd JFKKSDFJFKJ YOSUKE HANAMURA'S GLASSES~) Also, Yosuke Hanamura is totally following in the footsteps of Chris/Reiji, Eikichi, Heat, Narumi and Junpei. SEXY.

Haha, another tangent to my P.S., in Digital Devil Saga -- I am in Manipura. I forgot how much I love the music in this game, and I also forget that Jinana's Atma is on her ass. So every time they cut to her ass I'm like, "WHAT? ASS IN MY FACE? ... oh yeah." (AND OH MAN I FORGOT HOW HOT BAT IS.)

I kind of want a small Atma tattoo (I like Heat's and Argilla's). Or a Bioshock tattoo (omg like one of THESE! :D). Nothing huge and obvious, but it might be fun. And it's not like scratching a name or something on your skin that will be like, "EW WHY DOES IT SAY THIS ON ME?" in the future.

I'm gonna post the first part of the Star Wars/Bioshock crossover/mash-up thing here soon, so I figure this post is needed for anyone who is into the Star Wars: EU (post-RotJ) and has no idea what the hell a Bioshock is. So I'll start posting this shiz like tomorrow or something. Something something.

On a completely random note -- I am writing a Jacen/Tenel Ka short story that is a crossover with Bioshock. And by crossover I don't mean "LOL SANDER COHEN MEET JACEN SOLO! WHERE AM I?! WHAT IS THIS SILLY PELLET SHOOTING GUN?" I mean, I am sticking these two into Rapture and just running with it like they've been on Earth all their lives. It might kind of be in the same oddly disconnected vein as Jagula, Dr. Zekkyll, Lowzilla and the Phantom of Carida -- but in a more serious (and vintage-1940's pervy <3) kind of way.

Their names in the story? Tanith Kendall and Jase Soloman. YES.

(This is also in addition to Jase's siblings, twin sister Jane and little brother Andrew. MOOHAHAHAHA~)

STAR WARS/BIOSHOCK = OTP.

I never realized how fun it is to write them in a setting that's not LOL BLASTERS AND LIGHTSABERS AND THE FORCE IN YOUR FACE LIGHT AND DARK YAY WAR ALL AROUND US ALL THE TIIIIME!!!1111 Also, Jacen Solo Jase Soloman saying "fuck this" = LOL YES. And you know I will totally insert little jokes into it pertaining to the canon SW storyline. Like skirts. And animals. And Jaina's harem. And the missing arm.

I'm also kind of mixing up the canon (haha like it's not effed enough already by putting them in Rapture) --

Basically the Soloman's (Han and Leia) sent their kids Jase, Jane and Andrew (Jacen, Jaina and Anakin) down to Rapture (the Academy) because they are "gifted" (have the Force) and they thought the kids would fit in good with Andrew Ryan's vision of LOL AWESOMENESS. But the children end up following their own paths: Jase delivers food (hottest delivery boy ever) and smuggles stuff from the surface, Jane dances at a burlesque joint and Andrew guts fish for a living (Jacen goes absolutely batshit, Jaina loves her some boys and... more boys and Anakin uh, dies). So see, it's just like canon! Parents let kids go crazy! :D

Oh oh oh, and Andrew swipes a Telekinesis plasmid so the brothers get to have some fun pretending they have the Force.

I LOVE THE DIRTY SOLOMAN CHILDREN. XD


(OH AND NOW ANOTHER IDEA WHERE JASE AND TANITH HAVE ALANA [see, I totally just took out an extra L] AND THEY THREATEN TO TURN HER INTO A LITTLE SISTER AND JASE LOSES HIS SHIT AND KILLS LOTS OF PEOPLE.)

OH-EFFING-KAY! I have pulled out all the stops and am using songs I have been hoarding from other fanmixes to put on this one. Therefore, this is my most emo fanmix, by far, that I have ever had the awesome fangirly opportunity to put together. And I have everything on this bitch from Deadsy to Gnarls Barkley to I AM X to Masashi Hamauzu to the Smashing Pumpkins to P.O.D. to Anberlin (EVEN CRISS ANGEL LOLOLOLOL) -- SONG HORDING SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE LOTF SERIES! :D

I have slaved madly on this one, picking each song carefully and piecing them together to form the perfect crazy trip through the events concerning them in this odd little series -- from the song "Red" with it's lilting and childlike kaleidoscope of absolute and utter emo-depression for Tenel Ka and Allana to "Sleep Sweet" for Jacen's message through the Force to Tenel Ka -- this fanmix is MAH BABY. <3

Aaaaaand it pretty much makes me bawl everytime I put the playlist on my zune. Especially when it hits the line you're not the one I used to know in "Gone to Your Head." D:

Also, Bobby's line: "Family doesn't end with blood, boy." Totally made me all "CUTE! :(!" Plus all the moments with Sam and Dean just being all brotherly. As well as Sam's crying at the end for Dean, of course (oh my god and Dean yelling out for Sam when he was all strung up with the hooks in his skin KJFKJFDFAKLSKAIOWIEA). Those boys sure did act the shit out this episode hard.

I was also surprised at how graphic they got with Dean's hellhound attack -- and that last shot.

Duuuuuuuuuuude. I really hope Sam starts using his Crazy Ass Demon Sith OMG OMG Powers like MAD next season.

Today I realized my contract with Cingular was over a couple months ago and now I'm on a month to month thing. This is awesome, because this means I can get the eff off of Cingular-- oh sorry, AT&T, and go on another service. I really dug Virgin Mobile when I had it, so I might switch back to that. I never really talk on my phone too much. If anything, I use it to text more.


There was a topic on a message board about the nerdiest thing you had ever done was. This made me think about the question for myself. There's the costumes and the websites and stuff, sure. But nerdiest? I think I would have to go with this:

I've decided that I didn't really like the series as a whole. None of the books really stood out to me -- I'm gonna have to go with Tempest as my favorite. Only because the cover is hot. And that's pretty bad when I have to go on the covers. Wait, I also like all the little fun things Denning always interjects into the stories. BUGSLUT. Invincible wins second for the cousins. Fury wins third for Zekk going all odd and gray and out of it concerning the Force.

But I can't nerd out over LotF like I did with other books like the NJO and even the DN books -- not to mention the YJK series and all the awesomely-cheesy-amazing Bantam books where there could be LOTS OF FUN WITHOUT LOTS OF KILLING.

Buuuuuuuuuh~

I kind of hate the Solo family.

I have worked like an effing maniac on the third Jacen/Tenel Ka fanmix and it's gonna be posted on May 24th. May 24th is the day that my Jacen Solo fansite, Viridity, will turn 6 years old~ :O! Holy crap, really.

It's two discs. There's 30 tracks on it. It is my baby that has been in the works for about a year and a half now. Every book that was released I would add songs that fit and I had a whole list of songs to switch in and out depending on the outcome of the series. Which, now that I know, I set my tracks accordingly. All I need are a few more quotes and this thing will be complete -- finally. :D

I HOPE YOU ALL WANT TO HEAR SOME CRAZY MUSIC. Cause that is what you'll be getting. I hope you will partake in the crazy on the 24th and listen and enjoy. And help me celebrate 6 years of being a totally total complete and utter nerd -- well, a totally total complete and utter nerd with a website. So I was looking through some of the old LotF books and NJO books and stuff (fanfiction purposes, fanmix purposes, etc.) and I was reading the first chapter of Inferno again.

Now we know why Jacen looks so pissed off in the picture this icon was made from. Because that is a picture of Mara's funeral and the night before the funeral was the first chapter of Inferno -- in which Jacen Solo was totally cockblocked. BY HIMSELF.

Jacen is being a dirty spy on Tenel Ka who is trouncing around her quarters in her undergarments (...so she was standing in her underclothes.), he comes out of his little dark hiding corner, checks her out (...then let his gaze slide down her body.) -- which she welcomes, by the way -- and then she basically throws herself at him, apologizes cause she realizes they're both kind of horny when they should be thinking about BEING SAD -- then he BEGINS TALKING POLITICS. THIS IS A MISTAKE. POLITICS ARE A TURN-OFF. ESPECIALLY GFFA ONES.

He tries to get the groove back:

Tenel Ka: "So you only came here to warn me that the Galactic Alliance is about to collapse?"
Jacen: "Well, that's not the only reason." *grins and cocks an eyebrow -- and yes, the terminology here is "cocked an eyebrow"*
Tenel Ka: "This is no times for jokes, Jacen. Your timing is worse than when we were teenagers."

More talking ensues, she gets a little pissed and then:

Tenel Ka took him by the arm and started him toward the door.

Aaaaaaaand the next day he attends his aunt's funeral, where he should be feeling guilty about what he did to her -- but he's too busy scowling about his self-given case of blue balls.

I was working on the J/TK fanmix #3 last night -- and this line is totally their relationship concerning Allana: "... for when the very thing that caused this woe is sometimes better than you know."

OH GAWD AND: "... waste all your time with me, I know I'm a mess right now, don't give up, believe -- I'd wait it out for you."

And a Jacen Caedus line!: "... all my friends are dead in a perfect scene." (<333333333333333 MUAHAHA)

This is definitely my most emotastic fanmix ever (and possibly the most angry). D: And I have a couple songs I need to swap out, depending on how the series ends, but yeah, this is like two discs full of absolute wangst. AND I LOVE IT.

No matter what I ever say these two are my ultimate OTP of doom and amazingness. I will cry my eyes out at a damn Star Wars book if he dies in Invincible. D:

But I will seriously be pissed off like mad if he bites it and there's no reaction from Tenel Ka and Allana. Or if there's a tossaway one-liner like, "Oh btw lol and the Queenie and her brat are so emo on Hapes cause of the death of their loverboy/papa. BACK TO THE FETTS NOW!"

I SAT IN TRAFFIC FOR TWO HOURS TONIGHT IT WAS AWESOME. Everyone was like OH GAWD FREEZING RAIN WHAT IS THIS WATER FALLING OUT THE SKY!?!? The best part was sitting at this uber-busy intersection and the power just goes out all around. The shopping center beside me was pitch black and the first thing I thought was, "OMG I'M GONNA GET OUT OF THE CAR AND PLAY SILENT HILL!"

Okay, so couldn't sleep. Slept for 12 and a half hours last night, trying to get rid of the stomachache. Wouldn't go away. Finished Blaze. Now I have to wait until the 22nd for Duma Key.

Made an icon. Trying to decide what's for dinner. Something that won't murder my stomach. WHAT TO EAT. Maybe a sammich. it hurtssssss....

I think I'll bring Mitsuru and Little Sister costumes to Katsucon in February.
