Alright, so yeah, I remember the entry a couple weeks ago where I was like, "Awww, David Cook and David Archuleta singing together is cute."

Right. And then I found the boy-duet finale performances again from seasons two and three for So You Think You Can Dance and I was like, "HAHAH AMERICAN IDOL IS SUCH AN EFFING JOKE."

S2 - Benji & Travis: Shane Spark's absolutely adorkable nerd routine. They are such GEEKS AND IT WORKS SO WELL. I watched this again and I was like, "IDOL WHAT?" And come on, they gave themselves a Brangelina name with TRANJI. <3

S3 - Neil & Danny: Mia Michael's Dueling Angry Prince OMG routine. Neil and Danny were so amazing at what they did, not to mention both being tall and hot. The outfits, chairs, pimp canes and GUYLINER helped as well. This is also the first place I ever heard the song, "Are You The One?" by the Presets. I cannot for the life of me get over how slick the part where Danny is clapping in Neil's face is. LOVE. It is so macho and yet totally NEIL/DANNY = OTP SUGGESTIVE AND I LOVE IT.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

Aption had to bite his lip to refrain from making a comment, the hand that wasn't clenched around the bottle of alcohol moving down to sweep the bowl across the surface to the snarky little punk.

It's okay, Gadell took that moment to comment for him. "Thanks for the opportunity to grab your nuts."

He didn't even wait for a response, a reaction -- anything. He just grasped the edge of the bowl and dragged it back to his own spot where he began picking through them -- Darix delivering his drink while he sorted. Vessau told himself to keep an eye on that one, and he vowed he would for the rest of the night.

He had no idea who the man was, or what he was doing here. But Gadell had his nuts, and that was all that mattered right now.

So the new Star Wars: EU RPG is open over at Kriff This! It is post-Dark Nest, board-based (although the characters will have livejournals -- which means memes and all kinds of fun crap) and it will be full of crack. Mega full of lots o'cracktastic things. Orignal characters are welcome and so far only Tenel Ka, Zekk, Jacen and Allana (and Ben, YES? ;D) are taken.

I would have Kyp too, but I don't have enough character slots. D:

This weekend I plan to do a lot of nothing, pretty much. Except, I might fiddle around with costumes. Some need fixing, I need better pictures of some and so on (also, I want to finish my Rez costume, wig and all -- and the urge to do that femme-Jacen costume is really taking over now D:). I figure I might do a Star Wars movie marathon too, you know because I am a nerd. And it is one of the things that has helped make me a total nerd.

The newest forum addition on Kriff This! is proving to be pretty fun. It's basically REGISTER STAR WARS CHARACTER SOCKS AND SPAM THIS SHIT. Zekk posted an Internet Quiz like "WHAT SW CHARACTER ARE YOU MOST LIEK HAY?" And he got pissed when he got Boba Fett. Jacen got Obi-Wan, with a "little of his mom" in him. And it just gets all loopy from there. So far we have Zekk, Jacen, Raynar, Lusa, Alema, Wes, Sharr, Sev and TK posting in there (I also brought Gadell in, since I've had his username -- and he lost Allana while playing Hide and Seek -- and there's Kyp and Jaina, but they haven't posted yet)... I think we need more movie characters (MAYBE I WILL PICK UP MAUL? OR JAR JAR? HAHAHAH~) -- book characters would be good though too. More pilots, more Bantam era, more kids (Ben & Allana?), more villains (Lumiya, any Vong, etc.) more crack! So if you have Star Wars characters in your head and want them to do memes and post on their own board -- you should definitely hit up The Holonet forum on KT. We will love you forever.

Hell, if you're crackish enough to register as characters, then we will love you on the regular aspect of the board as well. SO BE YOURSELF TOO. XD

ALRIGHT CHILDRENS. Is it bad when I watch the SW movies and see Han and Leia snarking at each other, I think: "OH DAYUM, YA'LLS GONNA HAVE SOME HOT KIDS~" And then when Anakin is emoing about fixing things, it makes me think, "JAINA" and when he's on Geonosis hoofing it with the creatures in the Arena, I'm like, "JACEN" and when he's kicking ass I think, "ANAKIN -- NO OTHER ANAKIN, TINY ANAKIN" -- because as much as the the movies (yes, even the prequels) have been the major part of the universe, the books and video games and comics add so much more to it. It gives the fandom an even bigger sense of OMG IT IS SO AMAZING AND I NERD MY PANTS OVER IT.

To me, Mace Windu is not just a dude with a purple lightsaber who galavants around and acts badass and then dies because Anakin is a tool. He is a totally awesome mofo who could perceive the single strikes in an event which would change the future -- Shatterpoints. Something that could be linked to the future when Jacen Solo sees a number of futures depending on what he did with Nelani Dinn -- or traced back a large number of years before with that fucking bitch Kreia, where she described them as fractures.

Luke Skywalker isn't just a donk who wants to get in power converter's pants, finds out his dad is a Darth and then becomes A JEDI. THE JEDI. This is a dude who goes on to find a bitchload more potential Jedi, turns them into Jedi and single-handedly brings back the Whole Damn Order. He also bangs a computer (OH SNAP), gets some ass handed to him by his future wife, then marries her, has a son, keeps his niece and nephews in line (kind of) and kicks major ass even when he is getting wrinkly, old and INCREASINGLY YODALIKE. I'M LUKE SKYWALKER, BITCH.

Leia Organa isn't just Leia Organa Miss Bunhead to me, kids. She's Leia Organa Solo, a politician and a Jedi. Still a fucking firecracker in the current books, this chick is DANGEROUS. She has been the Chief of State, she has been trained in the ways of a Jedi, she's seen her THREE CHILDREN kidnapped countless times (no rly, can you count them? D:). One of them has DIED. And she CAN STILL KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE AND KICK YOUR ASS. She is also still highly snarky and can still outsnap her husband. So get in the garbage chute, flyboy. This is not your barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen wife, kthx.

Han Solo. Yeah, omg ya liek smuggler and rogue extrordinare, amirite. He's also been through his best friend's death (RIP CHEWIE D:), his son's death, had countless broken bones and scrapes -- his ship has been through just as much. He was the drunk Dad who didn't come home for awhile, and the man who takes his homeworld's side in a war, leaving part of his family on the other side. And he's totally been getting bossed around by Lando Calrissian on the ship the LOOOOOVE COMMANDER (LANDO <333). He's not just your average punk in it for the money now. HE HAS GRAY HAIR. AND IT IS HOT. (I am also totally endeared to him and Leia even more now after seeing how adamant they are in their <3 for Tenel Ka. IT MAKES ME CRY. HEY GUYS, SHE'S THE MOTHER OF YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER. D:)

Hell, even crap like the clone army and the commandos. They aren't just a faceless bunch of Jango-sheep. Play Republic Commando! The Force isn't just a new-fangled thing that's come about in the prequel era. KOTOR-ize yourselves! Luke Skywalker will die one day. Read the Legacy comics! The six movies are just windows into these characters fictional-yet-easily-and-horribly-obsessible (new word, eh? eh!?) lives. Sure, the movies are the story of Anakin Skywalker -- but what about everyone else?

And that kids, is why I love Star Wars. There's so much more to it than what Mister George Lucas has shown us -- and while what he has shown us is the most OMG MAGICAL of it all -- there's still a shitload more we don't know and more that we haven't seen. There's more characters than Anakin Skywalker. Maaaaaany more. And the fact that I can get wibbly over their deaths (Ganner D:), get highly attached to minor ones (Tenel Ka <3) and fall in love with the darlings who have totally lost Their Way (Jacen <3) -- just proves that Anakin Skywalker isn't the only one whose story needs telling. AND THAT IS ALL. HEART. [/nerd]
