So my Dad lives in a little town in Florida that's right south of Daytona Beach, yes? And I call him the other day to ask him how he is faring with the storms and all that jazz. He told me they sat in the eye for two days with sun and lots of nothing and then the storms were back and it was really windy and the lights were flickering while I was on the phone with him and then we were about to get off the phone and I hear a ding -- it's the sound of the doorbell at his work.

"OH OKAY GOTTA GO. PIZZA'S HERE. LOVE YOU, BYE!"

My dad got a pizza delivered in a tropical storm. XD

This weekend I was pretty lazy. I did bloody up my Shmi outfit -- I just need to add a few rips and it's done. I'm gonna start seriously packing tonight.

Friday night, Alex, Ronnie and I met my mom and Duane at Hooters (at the Hooters that usually has good service and stuff) and we got stuck with this chick who sucked and never came back to check on us and failed at getting us an appetizer (and we specifically ordered it like way before the meal) and failed at getting Alex and Ronnie the pitcher of beer they asked for ("It's almost ready," she says, ten minutes after they order it -- A PITCHER OF BEER DOES NOT TAKE TEN MINUTES TO "GET READY"). We watched her flit around the restaurant blabbing at people and showing off her non-assets though (seriously, most homely looking girl in the joint). So Ronnie ended up tipping her like three bucks on our check and Duane tipped her a whopping $0.76. XD

Next, the three of us went to two Wal-Marts looking for Scrubs for Ronnie's Turk outfit -- both ones that we went to didn't have green scrubs. :| Every color but green. Although, we did see these guys in the booze aisle (yeah, booze in Wal-Mart is totally foreign to us) that we didn't think were twenty-one and they were looking at the wine and would look nervous whenever we looked over at them. They ended up getting a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon and some wine and some sort of Canada Dry product that didn't look like ginger ale. They looked really awkward going up to the cashier and we watched them from another register aisle as Ronnie and Alex got a 6-pack of weird beer that had some weird shit in it. They were just like, "LOL WE'LL GO WITH THIS ONE. IT LOOKS INTERESTING."

So we're walking out and we see one of the boys carrying the beer and he knows we're watching him and giggling and maybe we're undercover cops or something. It was pretty damn funny. Then you know, we of course did the whole "HE'S BRINGING THE PBR BACK TO THE LAN PARTY AND HIM AND HIS BUDDY ARE GONNA BE HEROES! THEY SENT THEM CAUSE THEY WERE THE TALLEST AND THEREFORE LOOKED THE OLDEST." I mean they looked so nervous for some reason.

We ended up sitting around and watching random tv all night. What Not To Wear, the X-Men cartoon, the second half of Clerks II, etc. Alex fell asleep at some point and I refrained from kicking him awake whenever he did, then during Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive (this was like 3 a.m.) I groggily looked over on the other couch to Ronnie, who had passed out as well. I promptly passed out like half a minute later. We're getting old.

Saturday night, Ronnie and watched more tv and then played some Wii Play. Alex got there and it turned to Wii Sports where he tried to have the Lil' Jon Mii play on both tennis teams. This resulted in Ronnie and I playing a nice game of Wii Tennis with each other while Alex flailed around the basement trying to play as well. They also decided to start Wii Fit accounts -- and Alex cheats at yoga. He also passed out again after we pulled out the bed-couch thing and Ronnie and I sat in a cocoon of blankets and played GTAIV. He showed us the really skanky lap dance too. I briefly wondered how many gamers spent like all of Niko's money on that so they could watch it over and over again and then I shuddered and turned my mind to other things.

So I was thinking about taking a Creative Writing course next semester (specifically a Fiction course) -- except I know I'm going to have to read my shit out loud. And I have a crippling fear of speaking in front of people. I mean for real. Like when I had to do presentations in school, I would start getting really nervous about a week before and basically shut down and feel sick the whole day I had to present, until it was over.

And now this would be stuff I come up with all on my own. Stuff that's all mine. Not something I am reporting on or supposed to be presenting on. It's crap that all came from my head. Which will make it even worse. But I kind of want to take the course.

So what do I do?

I was so happy when I was done with high school and such cause I was all, "OMG NO MORE PRESENTING IN FRONT OF THE CLASS AND DREADING EACH AND EVERY DAY~ I'M GONNA FIND A JOB WHERE I NEVER HAVE TO SPEAK IN FRONT OF A GROUP AND IT WILL BE AMAZING!" And now it's back again. :|

I don't want classmates leaving class and being all, "That chick is fucking insane. Where does she come up with that stupid shit?"

In a perfect world I'd be able to take the course online and get feedback from a teacher -- or even using discussion boards like on some of the other classes I've taken (Mystery in Literature and Film, Science Fiction Literature, etc.) cause then I wouldn't have to see the people staring at me like, "O_O what is this crap and why are you shaking like a frightened puppy while reading it to us~"

So now along with the cat bills that are still on my credit card (significantly lower than a couple months ago, but still there), now my car is being a punk and I have to get at least $700 worth of work done on that. More if certain parts don't cooperate while they're fixing it. So I have a feeling that once I get back from D*C I will be making lots of stuff (more than usual) for the shop of doom and putting lots of junk on ebay.

Okay, my back is fucking killing me. So I get to wait this out, pretty much. I'm tempted to go get the x-ray on Monday. But I have a dentist appointment. And I haven't been the dentist in five years. So I'm too busy worrying about that. Broken ass, a billion problems with the teeth, no doubt -- and there's so much crap I want to get done on the weekends and I WON'T BE GETTING ANY OF IT DONE THIS WEEKEND, IT LOOKS LIKE.

I was debating making a doctor appointment in case I BROKE MYSELF, but maybe I'm just being paranoid (lololol like this is a new thing) and my back and neck are hurting cause I sat in the car and not completely because I fell all up on my backside and crap. Although I'm sure that's part of it.

I guess I will wait a day or two and see how it feels then. If it still feels like this I am calling the doctor. I will have to stand at my desk for periods tomorrow cause I can't sit on my ass all day. D:

I am sitting in the living room of Valerie and Brian's (aka zoopiglet & ben_ethus aka my sister and almost brother-in-law) apartment watching Black Sheep which = LOLOLOLOL~

Mom and Valerie and I went to look for wedding dresses for Valval's wedding (next April) today and VALERIE GOT HER WEDDING DRESS! We also found my bridemaid dress and we're both done. AND IT'S ONLY JULY. XD

I also broke the fuck out of my coccyx (my tailbone -- i just like typing/saying COOCOCOCYYYX!) today. Mom and I were walking from the guest apartment down here to theirs and I slipped on the grassy hill on the way down cause it was sort of wet. My hands were full so I couldn't stop myself from falling so I can't walk or sit without it hurting. And according to WebMD and shit, when you hurt that it takes weeks to go away. :|

This means I get to suffer in the car on the way back from Pittsburgh or lay down somehow. I'm basically supposed to not sit down as much as possible. D: NOT. COOL. I am sitting on a funny cushion thing so I don't put any weight on it.

I am so excited for this movie it's not even funny. Haven't seen Iron Man, haven't seen Indy, haven't seen Caspian. Wanted to, kind of, sure (Indy cause it's Indy and Caspian cause it's Ben Barnes, hay). Pretty sure I won't see Hulk or even Batman (OH NOES). But I hate movie theaters. I hate people. I especially get annoyed with children. But I will go see this movie opening weekend (and it will probably even be Sunday morning, at that) -- BECAUSE IT LOOKS AMAZING. And Pixar has NEVER LET DOWN BEFORE. And Wall E is the CUTEST EFFING THING EVER OHMYGAWD LOOK AT HIM.

I was in the drive-through line at McDonald's today and I saw a guy sitting on a curb waiting for a bus and scratching a lottery ticket. For some reason, as I sat there watching him, I had the craziest and most gigantic urge to want him to win. Like I just wanted to watch him jump up and start cheering cause he won a million bucks. And it's a Monday. So I don't know where this sudden bout of HUZZAH OTHER PEOPLE!!11 came from, but it felt good. I was sad for him when he shrugged and threw the ticket away. D:

Last Thursday I met Emily/lusa_thul at Subway since my work is right near her house and we sat around and blabbed about D*C and costumes and what we still have to get done. Then we figured out what date we could have our MORE-BLOOD-ON-THIS SESSION -- which will be a day we set aside for bloodying up her Hank Olson shirt and my Peter Mcvries shirt (more blood!) and wrecking the hell out of our Shmi and Padme zombie costumes. XD

Saturday I went to the COMPANY PICNIC!!1 -- it was actually really nice outside and I had fun. :O! Then Saturday night, Ronnie (OMG gruppe_sechs) and I played Rock Band with Ashley (OMG see_aphy_be) and her friend Ashley, LOL~ it was fun and the Ashley's were probably like RONNIE AND HEATHER ARE SUCH TOOLS cause after the song it would cut back to us talking over the headset about like... To Wong Foo and me quoting the "LITTLE LATIN BOY IN DRAG, WHY ARE YOU CRYING?" line. I love that line. LOVE IT.

Ronnie and I also played some multiplayer Grand Theft Auto IV with Ed/zekkxy, which was hilarious. Cause we amused ourselves by jumping out of helicopters and seeing how awesome my character model looked when hit with a car and then listening to our stupid taunts ("HEY QUE PASA????//") and then when we actually went and played a deathmatch with other people everyone was DOING AWESOME -- except me, of course. LOL. Although, I did get two kills and the "KILLED A ROCKSTAR EMPLOYEE" achievement. So HUZZAH! XD

I've decided that I didn't really like the series as a whole. None of the books really stood out to me -- I'm gonna have to go with Tempest as my favorite. Only because the cover is hot. And that's pretty bad when I have to go on the covers. Wait, I also like all the little fun things Denning always interjects into the stories. BUGSLUT. Invincible wins second for the cousins. Fury wins third for Zekk going all odd and gray and out of it concerning the Force.

But I can't nerd out over LotF like I did with other books like the NJO and even the DN books -- not to mention the YJK series and all the awesomely-cheesy-amazing Bantam books where there could be LOTS OF FUN WITHOUT LOTS OF KILLING.

Plantar fasciitis. Awesome. :| Although, mine is in the ball of my foot and not the heel. Now I get to take four ibuprofen three times a day for a week. I watched the Saturday Night Live episode last night that was on this past weekend -- it was hilarious. Easily one of the funniest I've seen in a long time. Shia LeBeouf has damn good comedic timing and Bill/Fred playing Niko/Vlad from Grand Theft Auto IV on the Weekend Update was PRICELESS. I always love the MacGruber skits too.

But dude, this skit made me laugh so hard I almost cried and coughed up a lung. The looks on their faces had me rolling.

I didn't mention last night -- the fact that from the promos for the new season of Gladiators, it looks like they're bringing back FUCKING ATLASPHERE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOMYGOODNESS. BEST EVENT EVER.

AND DEAR ANYONE WHO EVER OWNED A SUPER NINTENDO: I need your help before I go absolutely batshit. There was a game I used to play at my friend's house and all I remember is a part (actually, the whole game might be like this) where you're a dude (the POV is third person, always behind and sort of above this dude, I think) on a big yellow and red (I think) grid and you are collecting balls. The grid always looks like it stretches over the horizon. All I remember is running on that grid and collecting those fucking balls and the sky was blue and WTF GAME WAS THIS? D: IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS. I went through the whole list of SNES games on wikipedia and nothing is jumping out at me.

I think it was on SNES -- I don't remember them having a Nintendo.

I got home from work super late last night and crashed on the couch almost instantly after taking my shoes off. My feet hurt like a biiiiiiiitch. Did you even watch those three movies? All three are solid and entertaining movies, not to mention amazing looking. Just because the "public" didn't like these three and they didn't make assloads of money doesn't mean you have to put them on your WORST DISNEY MOVIE LIST to "look cool" to everyone. So I took a long lunch on Friday -- one, cause it was Friday and two, there was really no one at the office. I went to the bookstore and wandered around. Ten minutes after I got in there, I found myself sitting in one of the crazy oversized chairs reading Twilight cause everyone everywhere has been making such a BIG AWESOME DEAL about it and I wanted to see what all the hype was about. But the hype. I don't get it. Now granted, I didn't finish the book, obviously, but what I did get through (a few bits near the start and then some other parts as I skipped around) made me feel like I was reading a big self-insert Mary Sue fanfiction with HOT HOT EVERY OTHER PAGE HOT vampires. I know like all of you on my FL love these books (sans Ashley, LOL ON PHONE CALLS FROM MCDONALDS) and I see fanmixes for it at least twice a day on the fanmix community, and I'm not trying be a ho-skank or bash them or anything, but I really don't understand the hype behind them. I am totally having flashbacks to eighth grade when a bunch of us "played" and we wore our pins to school and nerded out all the time. Eighth grade. WTF. I was a Toreador, then I got sick of those tools and was a Tzimisce. Also, besides us in our awesome Miss Hedges Honors English class (complete with Lasombra, Gangrels and Ravnos, oh my!) we had the SHADOWLORDS(!!111) in our grade as well, which was made up of like six dudes who pretty much paralleled us (different clans though) except they were way more into it -- and creepy. And gave us a note that I really wish I had right now that was like, "OMG YOU GUYS AND YOUR COTERIE BETTER ALIGN WITH US OR WE WILL MAKE YOU GO CRAZY AND KILL YOU THE WYRMMMMmmm YAYAYAYYyya!~"

This is how we passed the time in middle school. And then my stepbrother played too -- he had an Assamite. THOSE WERE THE DAYS. So I'm kind of bitter that they did away with Masquerade and brought on Requiem. It just doesn't seem as entertaining.

But yeah, Tzimisce was where it was at. And you know why I loved them so much:

It was pretty awesome today at lunch -- ate at Arby's and then drove out to watch some of the vintage Warbirds fly over the Reagan National Airport and the Pentagon. It was done to commemorate the U.S. Airmen who died in WWII and damn did they look awesome flying over the Air Force Memorial. :D They flew a B-17, a Spitfire, a P-51 Mustang and a P-40 Kittyhawk -- but one of the smaller planes must've been having mechanical issues cause there were three planes in the flyover from AAFB, not four, like it was listed. The B-17 was pretty badass though -- that thing is gigantic. And the noise they made during the flyover = heeeee!

That makes me want to go to the air show again. I haven't been in years. :(

Got my hair cut and colored this morning. I am in love with it cause whenever I got my hair dyed it was usually for conventions and it came out like picture #1 under the cut. It was red omg! This time I decided to go with something not so LOUD -- and it turns out looking more like TK's than the color before! And I didn't even mean for it to cause I just wanted it dyed something different. :O So yeah, #1 is the old color I used to get, #2 is what my hair looked like for the past couple months -- brassy and blonde and like six different shades of color and #3 is what it looks like RIGHT NOW! This makes me want to go take Tenel Ka cosplay pictures. XD ANYONE UP FOR A PHOTOSHOOT?! MUAHAHA~

I beat Laura Bow today! It only took me a couple hours. This means GAME #01 is complete! Also, ALL THE WAYS TO DIE IN LAURA BOW: THE COLONEL'S BEQUEST (the death at 7:30 is one of my favorites <3). This is my fun thing to share with you now that I've beaten the first game on my list.

I love the awesome 80's sound effects and snarky little YOU HAVE DIED, DUMBASS notes after you make Laura bite it. ("WAY TO GO SHERLOCK, YOU JUST INVENTED THE TRASH COMPACTOR.") Also, in my Great Video Game Heist of 2008, I have one GAME OVER on my TALLY OF THE DEAD. I forgot about the person grabbing you out of the closet (it's at 4:37 in the video above AND IT SCARED THE BEEJEEZUS OUT OF ME). And I will admit that the axe on the suit of armor almost got me. Finding new and exciting ways to die in Laura Bow/King's Quest/etc. was always a highlight of these games! :D

I have a feeling the TALLY OF THE DEAD will be well over 100 after I finish with all thirty games -- I mean, there's games like Myst and Hotel Dusk where it's almost impossible to die -- but then there's games like the Grand Theft Auto, Eternal Darkness and Resident Evil 4 -- all of which I will definitely die 948920459348 times in. XD

And I need to catch up on the rest of my Top Model recaps on franklin_sings! XD

I love how the Hayfield Class of '03 is planning a 5 year reunion. We can't wait for the 10 year? Is there that much to update/show off to everyone on/with? But forget about that part cause I'm not even on the list at all -- not on the attending/maybes/declined/haven't replied. XD FUNNY, I GUESS I DIDN'T GRADUATE FROM HAYFIELD IN 2003. All the people I would really, really want to see though, I see now -- Erin, Ronnie, Alex -- and DENIS, WHAT THE HELL? YOU LIVE LIKE TWO MINUTES AWAY WHY DO WE NEVER SEE YOU? So I guess I just have to be emo about not being invited. :P

CAT UPDATE! I think she is doing good. She's acting pretty normal, except she's still kind of skinny and now she farts all the time. Seriously. She'll jump up on my lap and it'll be like "OH GAWD WHEN DID YOU EAT A SKUNK, CHILD?!"

But I wanted to thank Natalie (blood_sorbet), Linh (sarisa), Sara (jill_sparrow), Ed (zekkxy) and especially my dear Erin (omicron1337) for their help, whether it was Etsy (LOL shoppage pimp!) purchases, paypal-ed funds or cold hard cash -- all of it has gone towards cat debts and I thank you all very muchly much for the help. I realized I never properly pimped this beast out on here -- Castle Rock. Kind of a Stephen King board that'll have real discussions and stuff on his works one day -- but for now see_aphy_be and I were pretty much using it to get all of the King characters voices out of our heads. King characters are really fun to RP. Especially when they have no idea what's going on and run into dead friends of theirs. GO ANGST AND AWKWARDNESS!

Saturday night was pretty funny -- Ronnie, Erin and Jeremy came over and brought me Burger King cause they knew I couldn't leave my dressed/drugged up cat (THX U AGAIN, D00DZ <3) and then we watched the end of Wicker Man (the Nic Cage one), which we made fun of, naturally. "BEES BEES IN MY EYES BEES IN MY EYEEYEYEYEYESSSSSS!!!11" And then we played the new Super Smash Brothers and Ronnie killed me while we were trying to get Sonic by playing the "omg story mode" by singing his own Sweeney Todd song -- "I FEEEEEEEL YOOOOOOOU SOOOONIC~~~" I woke up Sunday morning singing it. D:

At least we got up to Luigi (we'll get you one day, Sonic! :O) and I got to see his frighteningly fruity dance moves. I love him so hard. LOVE, I TELL YOU.

So I went to the doctors on Wednesday and got totally violated examined. MY LITTLE CYST FRIEND IS GONE. And Maeby is wandering around while there is someone to watch her, and crated at night and while everyone is at work. But her stitches and staples are going to be in until Monday (or possibly only until tomorrow), so she gets to continue to wear her wifebeater and collar.

But overall, I think I'm doing a bit better than I was at this point like a week and a half ago. Actually, I think I'm doing a lot better, so SUCK IT, ANYTHING BAD THAT HAPPENED. I have forgotten you and moved on. I've also cleaned the basement and moved some crap around, straightened my room (which still needs a really good cleaning, but I had to get rid of some things) and decided I need a haircut/color/something. Nothing major but I'm sick of the split ends and the washed out blonde color. It's time to change some things, dammit, cause I'm hot (haha ya rite) and right now I feel like I have the balls to show the world that.

Also, yay Saturday! I possibly plan on ripping up Rock Band, Bioshock (fourth playthrough!) and some Persona while Maeby sits by me on the couch. I am quite tempted to start a new game of the first Persona. Cause Mark and Brad are the OTP to end all OTPs and I watched a youtube video of Chunky turning into the penis-monster during the Snow Queen Quest and got the sudden urge to want to scribble my initials all over huge trees with massive amounts of pink leaves. And to get a yellow hat and a scarf with the number one on it -- oh, oh and to carve an X in my forehead. Possibly get a hickey so I can wear a bandaid over it too and cook like shit (Dr. Beverly, you skank). Oh, Persona how I love thee.

Maybe I will do a speed-playthrough of Silent Hill 2 as well. I haven't had my fix lately. *shudders*


P.S. ANOTHER EFFING REMAKE. THIS TIME IT'S Friday the 13th. And Jared Padalecki is in final negotiations to star in it -- according to this, it sounds like he'll be playing some sort of authority figure and not a young annoying thing, but what the shit. Another remake? And Padalecki, another something-horror-related? I KNOW YOU ARE BETTER THAN THAT.

I saw Maeby today on my lunch break. I was sitting there all paranoid and tooly in the waiting room while I was waiting to see her and I finally went back there and holy crap she was doped up good. But she looked at me and let me pet her. She basically had on like a bunch of bandages over all her tubes and stuff and it seriously looked like she had a cat turtleneck on. She had her right paw in a little thing that had the needles in it that were feeding her water and drugs. She still won't eat or drink on her own though. They're keeping her until (hopefully) tomorrow morning, maybe later. Also, part of her left arm was shaved where they were taking her blood pressure so now she's like part effing poodle.

Mom and I went to go see her again around 7. She was off the pain meds by then but she's still not eating and drinking on her own. And she's still woozy from the drugs. D: But that time she was awake and every time Mom or I stopped petting her she'd look at us like, "BITCH WHY YOU STOPPING?" So I have my fingers crossed that she's getting -- and staying -- better. They had to take two inches out of her six inch colon.

And all the crap I described in the first paragraph...

I just hope she eats and drinks and such so she can come home tomorrow. ;-;

Maeby went into surgery today. Whatever she managed to get her teeth on got itself stuck around her colon and they had to cut the dead tissue part of it out and put the colon back together. So baby is still there and there's a feeding tube in her and a drainage tube for the intestine stuff that was leaking out into her midsection -- I really don't know how to describe this shit accurately, I apologize. The vet was all, "You can come visit her later if you want, but she'll be really out of it."

I can't do it, I can't see her like that. But she made it through the surgery and the vet says she's not out of the woods yet cause of the feeding tube and blah fucking blah blah something something I can't remember cause I was too busy trying to keep my cool on the phone. So, yeah. I came home early cause all I was doing at work was sitting in my office staring at the computer screen in between bouts of shutting my office door and crying. Which, wtf, crying is totally not me. Especially at work. D:

The fun part was the thirty minute ride home. Now, ya'll know I curse like a sailor, but I don't think I've ever said that many curse words that loud and shrill in the span of half an hour. I think I even made some up. Yelling at people who couldn't drive, yelling at people not in the car with me, just yelling for the hell of it. I think I set a record. I also scratched a hole on the left knee of my pants. Being very angry -- now that's more me. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

I also rescheduled my doctor's appointment. I couldn't deal with that today too. So I'm going next week.

And now I'm listening to my Silent Hill: 0rigins soundtrack that came today from Japan (holy shit one good thing) and attempting to get work done that I didn't get done at work on my laptop -- while Thing is scratching the couch I am sitting on. She knows something is wrong.
