LOL ADULT CONTENT IN THIS POST? WHAT?

Okay, so I should probably be working on costumes or something useful, but instead I find myself sitting on LJ reading entries in the community [info]bad_sex --

OH MY GOD. I AM A GIRL AND I FEEL PHYSICAL PAIN WHILE READING THIS. KJFKFLSDFL:JKS DFJ" EO RI"EOFJ DS/ THAT MAKES ME WANT TO CRY.

Also, I LOLed.

THE FAINT! Okay, so I mentioned the song "Fulcrum and Lever" from the new Faint cd giving me nightmares. The sound of it is so odd and creepy and the lyrics are about a kid and his friends who tried to fly and the kid lands in some place that looks like Earth, but it's really weird. I love this song. LOOOOVE.

And I love this line: "Gravity seems weak until you look down."

("A Battle Hymn for Children" is a really good song too. ALSO. "FOREVER GROWING CENTIPEDES" -- I WANT THIS SONG'S MUSICAL BABIES. When did Todd start sounding so hot? When he says "Forever growing centipedes, you and I" and the "Every time I move I'm in another dimension" verse~ dafjksjdkfjaksfjdkjsdfkljksfd OH MAN WHAT?)

And some Long Walk love. After a gunshot is heard...

Baker: "Barkovitch. That was Barkovitch, I'm sure it was."
Barkovitch: "Wrong, redneck! One hundred per cent dead wrong!"

(AND OMG I WATCHED LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE. THE ONLY REDEEMING THING IS COREY FELDMAN. "WHO ORDERED THE STAKE?")

MCVRIES FANFIC WHAT? well, kind of.

So I wrote some FANFICTION OF THE LONG WALK TYPE OVER AT [info]caineslayer.

Priscilla always makes me angry because of how she treated Peter (not that he was like a super-amazing gentleman all the time, lol), but I couldn't get the idea out of my head that she actually still had feelings for him even after all their bullshit.

And that story was born. D:

Cause I'm always like, "THAT CHICK IS SUCH A BITCH, HOW DARE SHE." Of course, Peter was telling his side of things to Ray...

... but then again the bitch did slice his face open.

WHAT CAN I SAY? I tried to make her look human and still fit in with Peter's story of his scar. I TRIED.

YAY FOR IT BEING FRIDAY. :D

LONG WALK SLASH?

Alright, there was always the subtle Garraty/McVries vibe in The Long Walk, it couldn't be ignored. I know there's actually squealing fangirls out there who are all over Garraty/McVries -- but these parts do nothing to help the two of them get away from this. Somewhere inside of me there is a little voice absolutely squealing for Garraty/McVries = OTP too. For real.

They fight like a married couple -- it's like they heart each other, but bitch and snipe ALL THE EFFING TIME.

(This is one of my absolute favorite passages from any book EVER. It's so Peter. I also adore Ray's: "With a face like mine? I thought you perverts liked the willowy type." OH MY GOD PLEASE MAKE THE SCRIPT OF THE MOVIE AS CLOSE TO THE BOOK AS POSSIBLE. PLEASE.)

"You're all crazy," Parker said amiably. "I'm getting out of here." He put on a little speed and had soon nearly disappeared into the blinking shadows.
"He thinks we're queer for each other," McVries said, amused.
"He what?" Garraty's head snapped up.
"He's not such a bad guy," McVries said thoughtfully. He cocked a humorous eye at Garraty. "Maybe he's even half right. Maybe that's why I saved your ass. Maybe I'm queer for you."
"With a face like mine? I thought you perverts liked the willowy type." Still, he was suddenly uneasy.
Suddenly, shockingly, McVries said: "Would you let me jerk you off?"
Garraty hissed in breath. "What the hell--"
"Oh, shut up," McVries said crossly. "Where do you get off with all this self-righteous shit? I'm not even going to make it any easier by letting you know if I'm joking. What say?"
Garraty felt a sticky dryness in his throat. The thing was, he wanted to be touched. Queer, not queer, that didn't seem to matter now that they were all busy dying. All that mattered was McVries. He didn't want McVries to touch him, not that way.
"Well, I suppose you did save my life--" Garraty let it hang.
McVries laughed. "I'm supposed to feel like a heel because you owe me something and I'm taking advantage? Is that it?"
"Do what you want," Garraty said shortly. "But quit playing games."
    "Does that mean yes?"
"Whatever you want!" Garraty yelled. Pearson, who had been staring, nearly hypnotized, at his feet, looked up, startled. "Whatever you goddam want!" Garraty yelled.
McVries laughed again. "You're all right, Ray. Never doubt it." He clapped Garraty's shoulder and dropped back.
    Garraty stared after him, mystified.
"He just can't get enough," Pearson said tiredly.
    "Huh?"
"Almost two hundred and fifty miles," Pearson groaned. "My feet are like lead with poison inside them. My back's burning. And that screwed up McVries doesn't have enough yet. He's like a starving man gobbling up laxatives."
"He wants to be hurt, do you think?"
"Jesus, what do you think? He ought to be wearing a BEAT ME HARD sign. I wonder what he's trying to make up for."
"I don't know," Garraty said. He was going to add something else, but saw Pearson wasn't listening anymore. He was watching his feet again, his weary features drawn in lines of horror. He had lost his shoes. The dirty white athletic socks on his feet made gray white arcs in the darkness.

(BEAT ME HARD. XD)

And when Garrarty mentions something that happened when he was younger, something a teenage boy would probably be like, "OKAY WAIT WHAT?" at -- he doesn't balk at it one bit. And sure, Garraty could just be talking shit and going crazy, but what he says doesn't faze Peter for a second cause he's too busy worried about HIS BABY.

Jimmy and the clothes-off incident, more McVries yayness... )

MAKEOUT, Y/N? WHAT DO YOU CALL IT? McArraty? GaVries? Reter? Pay? I'm kind of a fan of McArraty.

And when Peter's little sister is all, "PETIE'S GOING ON AN ADVENTURE~!" Petie. Petie. My heart totally broke for that little girl cause she had no idea Petie's adventure had a 99% chance of her brother getting a bullet to the brain.

I feel a fanfiction coming on. D:

(WHEN DID DRAGON*CON GET TO BE 29 DAYS AWAY? OH MY SHIT, I HAVE WORK TO DO.)

Live free, be free, die free.

So you all know me and you know I've talked the book The Long Walk by Stephen King Richard Bachman up to death. I had my poll about it a little while back and I know some of you have read the book and know the characters (HOLLA BITCHES) -- but this soundtracky musical thing popped into my head and had to be built. I guess you could call it a fanmix. Or maybe four mini-fanmixes? I don't know. I have a fanmix for the whole book here (and just had to carry Peter's song over from that one), but I had to give specific love to these boys again, because I will never have enough of them. So here are four little mini-mixes of doom. Six songs for each of the four Musketeers.

The angry teenage boy in my head is very happy in an emo and pissed off sort of way. And yes, I almost said -- "the angry teenage boy inside me" -- ZING.

Anyways, click the title outside of the cut (under the picture below) for The Whole Fanmix. There are four .zip files under the cuts that contain each little mini-fanmix on their own, if you only want one or a few. I suggest the whole thing though since it makes one big coherent ANGRY TEENAGE BOY BITCHFEST. :D

(Also, River + Lou + Zac + young!Jensen = YAY <3)

Parker: "Shit. What a dipshit state this is. Goddman trees everyplace! Is there a whole damn city in the whole damn place?"
Garraty: "We're funny up here. We think it's fun to breathe real air instead of smog."
Parker: "Ain't no smog in Joliet, you fucking hick. What are you laying on me?"
Garraty: "No smog but a lot of hot air."
Parker: "If I was home, I'd twist your balls for that."
McVries: "Now boys. Why don't you settle this like gentlemen? First one to get his head blown off has to buy the other one a beer."
Garraty: "I hate beer."
Parker: "You fucking bumpkin."

McVries: "Olson! Hey, Hank!"
Baker: "Why don't you leave him alone?"
McVries: "Hey Hank! Wanna go for a walk?"
Olson: "Go to hell."
McVries: "What? What choo say, bo?"
Olson: "Hell! Hell! Go to hell!"
McVries: "Is that what you said."

McVries: "Prince Charming, that's who I am. Now all I need is a Sleeping Beauty. I could awake her with a big sloppy soul kiss and the two of us would ride away into the sunset. At least as far as the nearest Holiday Inn."
Olson: "Walk."
McVries: "Huh?"
Olson: "Walk into the sunset."
McVries: "Walk into the sunset, okay. True love either way. Do you believe in true love, Hank dear?"
Olson: "I believe in a good screw."
Baker: *cackles*
Garraty: "I believe in true love."

I will never get over the dialogue in this book. It never gets old. Neither do these boys. <3333333

Okay, whatever year the Long Walk movie comes out, there totally needs to be a bunch of us all bullet-holed (save for that one magical boy, natch) and costumed out with canteens and belts AND NUMBERS and stuff at Dragon*Con IN THE PARADE.

Because then we'll be walking in a street. With people on both sides of it. And it would be AMAZING. AND BLOODY. AND YAY SILLY TEENAGE BOY SHENANIGANS. :D

So, I think next summer [info]see_aphy_be and I are gonna take a vacation to Maine. Why? Because it is pretty. But mostly, because we are nerds. Super duper nerds. You know what else is totally nerdy? We will bring costumes (and by costumes I mean regular clothes that pass as costumes -- cause it's STEPHEN KING). How fucking cool and dorky would it be to get pictures as Peter McVries and Art Baker in front of the WELCOME TO VAN BUREN, MAINE sign, on Route 1, where the Long Walk is started every year? YES. Although, we would have to make non-bloody versions of the costumes. We wouldn't want to flip out the locals. D:

So yeah, then stuff up in Caribou and Presque Isle. Then we would totally hit up Derry Bangor and be like, "LOL STEPHEN KING LIVES AROUND HERE", but we won't stalk cause we're not that bad (really?). But also in Bangor we would putz around the city -- oh oh oh and hit up all the landmarks that are in Stephen King's fictional town of Derry, Maine -- which is his version of Bangor. Like stuff from It and Insomnia. Then we will find a lake and be like, "LOL, Dark Score Lake" and train tracks and be like, "LOL THE BODY." WE CAN EVEN GO TO LUDLOW AND BE LIKE "OH HAY THADDEUS BEAUMONT AND CHURCH THE CAT WUT?"

Then we can go to exactly where Castle Rock should be (Map from King's official site, OH SNAP!) and FIND A FIELD TO CAMP IN. MAYBE WE WILL GET KILLED BY A CLOWN. OR A CAR. OR A DOG. OR GEORGE STARK. <3

We will also have to drive the Acadia Harbors and Heights loop. IT EVEN SAYS SO ON THE MAINE TOURISM WEBSITE.

LOL, I can't wait to see if these instances are kept in the movie:

The walkers alternately embrace the crowd and members of it, notably Garraty taking a warning to neck with a girl and Gribble making sexual advances leading to his demise. As the volume, sheer numbers, and intensity of the crowds build, the walkers become more hostile and paranoid. One walker, seeing the crowd ahead swelling and threatening to close up the road entirely, goes insane, claiming that they will "eatusup" over and over again until he is shot by the soldiers.

COME OOOOOON, FRANK DARABONT. MOOOOOOOOVIE! LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED.

DARABONT: That one will be very, very faithful to Stephen’s story, even more faithful then The Mist was. But it doesn’t bear a huge budget because it’s a very existential strange little story. To do it faithfully then it winds up being a strange little movie so not a blockbuster, just a very interesting film I think.

I LOVE YOU, MAN.

BOOL! THE END.

Allllright, this is bad. You know how much I love me some Jacen Solo and Peter McVries. As far as characters from books go these two always take the cake. But on this readthrough of Lisey's Story, Scott Landon is looking more and more perfect and amazing.

In the case of Peter, we get background on him, sure (not enough jafksfjd). And it's all interesting and his snarky quotes and just everything about him is all kinds of YES. He has his flaws, he has is strengths. And then he's gone.

Jacen Solo, on the other hand, has had so many author's fingers all over him that he's gone from one end of the spectrum to the other and seems like a completely different character at different points in his life. So while I <3 him, he doesn't seem to evoke the same emotion from me that he did in his real years where he was questioning Every Single Thing and being unlike Every Other Jedi out there (kdjakfjaksfjdsd Traitor <3).

Then we get to Scott Landon. With Peter, there wasn't enough and with Jacen there was too much. Scott is like the little bear's junk and I'm Goldilocks and he's just right. He's human. His flaws make sense (*cough* Take note Jacen Solo).

And every little thing wrong with him makes him that much more endearing. The fact that we get to see it all through the eyes of someone who loves him so much despite his flaws (kjfksjfd I love Lisey <3) makes it even better. Sure, Scott cuts the shit out of his hand one night and swears they don't need to go to the emergency room, then he wakes Lisey up at four in the morning talking about, "WE NEED TO BUY A HOUSE. NO WAIT, THAT'S BACKWARDS. LET'S GET MARRIED." Sure, his hair's getting a little too long and he gnaws on his nails like a rat when he's reading and his teeth are a little crooked and he doesn't shut up when he gets to talking.

But he's a mean fry cook, he's had a shitty childhood that he shares with the one person he loves (as well as sharing a trip to that place), and he takes all of Lisey's words to heart. Families suck -- he tells her this as he wraps his bloody arm around her and kisses her temple.

This is the shit I LOVE reading about a character. Little odd things that make them more human.

If there was more Peter, I think Peter would take it all in this race. He's tragically and perfectly shaped and fleshed out, but there's not enough of him. Jacen, if LotF never happened, might take this spot as well -- in fact he has for awhile. But now he has this depressingly bitter aftertaste thing going (which makes me sad).

On this readthrough of Lisey's Story I think LITTLE SCOOT Scott is doing some complete pwnage. D:

I want my own Scott Landon.

Except you know, without the pneumonia eating of the fruit after sunset.

(It was tuned to the 50's on 5, and Lisey wasn't exactly surprised to hear "Sh-boom." Not The Chords, though; this was the cover version, recorded by a quartet Scott had insisted on calling The Four White Boys. Except when he was drunk. Then he called them The Four Cleancut Honkies.)

STEPHEN KING, WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME? <3 XD

"My ass is no wiser than your ass."

BUAHAHAHHA~ so NBC is doing Celebrity Family Feud. It starts on July 1st and looks totally silly. BUT I HAVE TO WATCH THIS EPISODE.

-- Episode 5
-The primary cast of My Name Is Earl (including Jason Lee and Jamie Pressly) vs. the secondary cast of Earl (including Tim Stack and show creator Greg Garcia)
-The cast of The Office (including Creed Bratton and Brian Baumgartner) vs. the cast of American Gladiators (including Titan and Venom)

YES. XD

So 80 days left till Dragon*Con. The only costume that is completely done is the Little Sister. And I need to splatter some more blood all over Peter McVries' shirt (AND BUY MORE MACAROONS, LOL) -- then he will be done too. Actually, Chris Chambers is done too -- cause I have a white shirt and I most definitely ordered candy cigarettes to roll up in my sleeve. Cause I will eat those. I would not buy a real pack of cigarettes. CANCER ROLLED UP IN MY T-SHIRT NO THX. D:

Done = three out of eight.

I was cutting out pieces of the Uber-Queenly Tenel Ka Costume of Doomage last night and my Mom wanders over and looks at it and totally expounds on an idea I had concerning it and makes the costume like a billion times cooler, if said idea ends up working out. We stood there for like twenty minutes holding up fabric and pieces and all kinds of crap and going "OH MY SHIT THAT WOULD BE SO AMAZING" -- and now I am so horribly giddy for this Queen outfit. I just hope it works out. <3

Shmi is getting there. I need to sew the pieces of the top, which I will do kind of crappily since I'm just tearing it up and bloodying it anyways. Still need a belt for her. Tempest Tenel Ka -- redoing a couple things. Probably saving that till after I finish the Queen dress. Lisey -- got my shorts and my towel (AND MY SHOVEL XD). Need to fix towel and also tea/bloody-up said towel. Also need to figure out what to do about the little afghan square. Oh, and make the Boo'ya Moon garland. :O And then Maid Marian -- STILL PROCRASTINATING ON THE CLOAK. :|

Haha, I love how for three out of these eight costumes (four if you count the dried blood crap all over the Little Sister) -- one of the steps for each is basically: COVER IT IN BLOOD.

Oh, Dragon*Con. <3

Do you want to know how crazy/anal D*C COSTUMING always make me? I have a flipping ORG CHART LOL. There is a row for what shoes I need for each costume, a row for clothing items I need, a row for props needed and a row for shit I still need to do. They're also arranged in the order I'm wearing them. And then a list of other things I need to bring. This also acts as my packing list and has hundreds of red lines on it once I'm all packed for the con. XD

I also need to figure out how short to get my bangs cut in August -- because I want bangs but I don't want them too short. Maybe I will get them layered from my cheekbones down. HMMMMMMMM.

AND HAHAHA, I love how it only took like TWO YEARS to finally get Peter McVries, Art Baker and Ray Garraty in a thread together. WITH THE ADDED SCOTT LANDON BONUS. XD

OH SNAP!

http://www.echuta.net/tk -- new layout! :O

And OH MY GOD, The Long Walk is still the best book ever. <3

"Yeah, yeah, stuff like that," Abraham agreed. "I'd forgotten about that stupid snuff question. I just zipped along, bullshitting in good order, you know, and I come to this essay about why I feel qualified to participate. I couldn't think of a thing. So finally some bastard in an army coat strolls by and says, 'Five minutes. Will everyone finish up, please?' So I just put down, 'I feel qualified to participate in the Long Walk because I am one useless S.O.B. and the world would be better off without me, unless I happen to win and get rich in which case I would buy a Van Go to put in every room of my manshun and order up sixty high-class horrs and not bother anybody.' I thought about that for a minute and then I put in parenthesis: '(I would give all my sixty high-class horrs old-age pensions too.)' I thought that would really screw 'em up. So a month later -- I'd forgotten all about the whole thing -- I get a letter saying I qualified. I damn near creamed my jeans."

LOVE IT.

I love when people join the Long Walk fanlisting and pick a character no one has picked yet and put in the notes section something to the extent of, "I like them all, but I picked [INSERT WALKER HERE] cause no one has picked them as their favorite yet and that makes me feel bad."

so cute. XD (AND DO YOU SEE HOW POPULAR PETER MCVRIES IS ON THE FANLISTING? YESSSS! HEEEEART~~~ He is so amazing. <333)

So I got the new Panic at the Disco cd today and I've listened to it pretty much all day at work and then in the car in traffic trying to get into it and I just don't like it. Oh yay for them growing up and going in a new direction or whatever the shit, but come on, they came up with their own odd little type of music with their first cd -- and this new cd is nothing like it. If I wanted to listen to the Beatles, I would listen to the Beatles. I wanted to listen to Panic at the Disco, not the Beatles. They must've dropped their unique sound when they dropped the ! from their name. LAME. I am pretty let down that I've been excited for a new cd from them since I bought the first one like the week it came out and now I am rewarded with a 60's-folk-pop cd of blah. D:

On the flip side though, I also got my hands on the new Gnarls Barkley cd and it has definitely exceeded my expectations. Right when "Charity Case" started all loud in the car I got this huge smile on my face. That song is love, as is the rest of the cd. So musicwise, one hit and one miss today.

I watched most of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation last night when it was on FX and I was so pissed cause I was like, "DAMMIT, WHY DOES JAX LOOK SO FAMILIAR?! AND MOTORO? WHAT THE SHIT?!?"

Then I realized it. Jax is played by the old school American Gladiator SABRE -- who was awesome, btw. And Motoro is played by fucking Deron McBee who = MALIBU. I DIED LAUGHING. XD Then everytime they showed Motoro after that I just pictured him doing THIS.

(Haha, if I had a dollar for every time I've compared The Long Walk to Battle Royale -- and then I read this:

"In Koushun Takami's novel Battle Royale, the town from which the ill-fated students hail is called Shiroiwa, which translates as 'Castle Rock'."

NICE. <3)

In other fun news, I love my Sci-Fi Literature class to death, methinks. Today at lunch I was reading one of the short stories we were assigned called "Fondly Fahrenheit" and it was major amounts of crack and love. The shifting point of view is crazy and James Vandaleur is pretty much a tool. Nice job killing little girls, James. Tool.

Hahahahaha, dude. So this file was modified in January of 2000. And was definitely taken before that. This will tell you how long I have loved that damn Long Walk book.

On a camping trip, in the middle of the night, my sister and I decided to take an awesome picture of me dead in the road, like all the guys from my favorite book.

MY FIRST COSPLAY? muahahahaha. Okay, closet cosplay, when I didn't really even mean to. AND I MISS THOSE STEEL TOED BOOTS. D:

Also, so yesterday at work I was typing up a document and I had to type the word "so" -- in the sentence, "I believe so." And what do I type?

I believe solo.

...

i think one of my highlights was when we were walking around in the Long Walk costumes and this one guy we walked by who was all tall and buff and in a red suit saw our numbers and realized what we were and was just all, "AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME" and fanboyed out and I totally broke my dead glare and looked at him and got all girly like, "THANK YOU~!!!! <33333 OMG!!!"

... and Major Victory. XD

AND EVERYTHING. (except the pain in my feet... BUT BESIDES THAT! HEART.)

Every year, 100 boys take part in an event called the Long Walk. It starts at the northern tip of Maine and stops once there is a winner. There aren't many rules. No walking slower than 4 miles per hour, no physical altercations with other Walkers -- both of these things will stack up a warning against that particular Walker. Once a Walker has three warnings, they're out of the Long Walk. And the only way out is zipped up in a body bag. The last to survive is the declared the winner.

[This magical cut below contains the .zip file, a tracklisting (featuring such eargasms as Home Video, Nine Inch Nails, Temposhark f. Imogen Heap, Duran Duran, Radiohead, Spacehog and The Pixies) and the front & back covers, which took Way Damn Longer than I figured they would. Oh, and spoilers for the book. ;D]

May 1st., XXXX. 9:00 a.m. )

MANY YAYS. And the week after D*C will be the Lisey's Story fanmix. XD

(And I will give you 25 of those boys. SEE IF YOU CAN FIND THEM! XD -- River Phoenix, Lou Taylor Pucci, Kevin Zegers, Jared Padalecki, Gaspard Ulliel, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Shia Lebouf, Jensen Ackles, Wil Wheaton, Michael Cera, Zac Efron, Jared Leto, Ryan Gosling, Heath Ledger, Justin Chatwin, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ian Somerhalder, Nick Stahl, Caleb Ross, Shane West, Paul Dano, Devon Sawa, Thomas Dekker [Claire's little friend from Heroes -- HE DOES NOT LOOK LIKE HIMSELF], Jonathan Brandis and one whole actor from the Harry Potter movies. XD)

ALSO: WTF IS THIS SHIT? 40 members and only one's favorite is Baker?! THIS IS BLASPHEMY. I just got two more forms too -- one for McVries and one for Scramm. I guess Baker is too nice for everyone. <3333 Baker = love. XD

So yeah, remember I spoke of the 100 boys and the fanmix cover that would take five years?

100 hot boys for you, under the cut of DOOM~! )

Now I just need the back cover with the faded shots and the blood and songs and something -- then the song pictures. And fsldjkasjdfkjasd I heart The Long Walk. XD

If anyone can name at least 25, I will give you a cookie~ hehehehehehehe~

Holy crap -- Frank Darabont even mentioned it again at Comic-Con. If it seriously happens like everything says it will I WILL BAWL. AND I MIGHT ACTUALLY CRY IN THE THEATER AT A MOVIE. I'm almost done with the book for probably the 20millionth time. SO GOOD. D: Everyone I know who has read this book hasn't had bad shit to say about it -- and all the reviews I read are all YAYS!

This is one of my favorite things said about it:

The basic idea -- kids walk or they die -- is enough to give me goosebumps, but the way Garraty and the others continue, keep walking, after all endurance and sanity are left, is just overwhelmingly disturbing. My above critique and this observation don't come close to exacting the tone of this novel, which is a quivery sort of cold darkness. A highly recommended read, if only for its supreme effectiveness. Let me put it this way: The Long Walk has given me more nightmares than any of the other Stephen King books combined.

If any of ya'll like Battle Royale, this is it in a marathon. XD

ALSO. CAN I PLEASE HAVE THE COVERS FROM ENGLAND AND THE FIRST ONE FROM JAPAN AND THE CADMAN RUSSIA ONE WITH THE SMIRKY MAJOR? KSAJLKJDdALKWUT. ESPECIALLY THE ONE FROM ENGLAND. ESPECIALLLLYY. HEART.

P.S. McVries' "Oh, pickles" is the cutest thing ever. Fo' realz. XD

FAVOR!

Okay, I have a small favor to ask of anyone who is bored. XD

I'm making a Long Walk fanmix -- or should I say, I made a Long Walk "mix cd" back in '99 and I'm taking it and adding songs to it and changing it up a little. I'm also giving it covers. And the idea I have for it is probably way too ambitious, but I'm gonna try it anyways.

What I need from ya'll is just one picture of a guy (actor, musician, whatever) who looks like he could be 15ish - 20ish (and yes, actors who are older now qualify as long as they look young in the picture -- like an old cheesy, dorky picture of Jared Padalecki or something XD). The shot should be straight on, no emo head tilting or goofing off or anything. XD

I'm gonna try to get headshots of the 100 walkers/boys for the cover. X_x

They'll be pretty small -- probably 32 x 32 pixels. But if it works it could turn out pretty damn cool.

SO IF YOU ARE BORED, BRING ON THE MENS! PLZ!

P.S. River Phoenix is the hottest hippie pizza boy ever. XD Especially with his horrible fu manchu pornstache disguise and his OMG WE ARE SO SCREWED screenshots. I am also in love with his chin scar.
