WHERE DOES IT SAY I CAN'T FRENCH MY SISTER?

So my Dad lives in a little town in Florida that's right south of Daytona Beach, yes? And I call him the other day to ask him how he is faring with the storms and all that jazz. He told me they sat in the eye for two days with sun and lots of nothing and then the storms were back and it was really windy and the lights were flickering while I was on the phone with him and then we were about to get off the phone and I hear a ding -- it's the sound of the doorbell at his work.

"OH OKAY GOTTA GO. PIZZA'S HERE. LOVE YOU, BYE!"

My dad got a pizza delivered in a tropical storm. XD

This weekend I was pretty lazy. I did bloody up my Shmi outfit -- I just need to add a few rips and it's done. I'm gonna start seriously packing tonight.

Friday night, Alex, Ronnie and I met my mom and Duane at Hooters (at the Hooters that usually has good service and stuff) and we got stuck with this chick who sucked and never came back to check on us and failed at getting us an appetizer (and we specifically ordered it like way before the meal) and failed at getting Alex and Ronnie the pitcher of beer they asked for ("It's almost ready," she says, ten minutes after they order it -- A PITCHER OF BEER DOES NOT TAKE TEN MINUTES TO "GET READY"). We watched her flit around the restaurant blabbing at people and showing off her non-assets though (seriously, most homely looking girl in the joint). So Ronnie ended up tipping her like three bucks on our check and Duane tipped her a whopping $0.76. XD

Next, the three of us went to two Wal-Marts looking for Scrubs for Ronnie's Turk outfit -- both ones that we went to didn't have green scrubs. :| Every color but green. Although, we did see these guys in the booze aisle (yeah, booze in Wal-Mart is totally foreign to us) that we didn't think were twenty-one and they were looking at the wine and would look nervous whenever we looked over at them. They ended up getting a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon and some wine and some sort of Canada Dry product that didn't look like ginger ale. They looked really awkward going up to the cashier and we watched them from another register aisle as Ronnie and Alex got a 6-pack of weird beer that had some weird shit in it. They were just like, "LOL WE'LL GO WITH THIS ONE. IT LOOKS INTERESTING."

So we're walking out and we see one of the boys carrying the beer and he knows we're watching him and giggling and maybe we're undercover cops or something. It was pretty damn funny. Then you know, we of course did the whole "HE'S BRINGING THE PBR BACK TO THE LAN PARTY AND HIM AND HIS BUDDY ARE GONNA BE HEROES! THEY SENT THEM CAUSE THEY WERE THE TALLEST AND THEREFORE LOOKED THE OLDEST." I mean they looked so nervous for some reason.

We ended up sitting around and watching random tv all night. What Not To Wear, the X-Men cartoon, the second half of Clerks II, etc. Alex fell asleep at some point and I refrained from kicking him awake whenever he did, then during Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive (this was like 3 a.m.) I groggily looked over on the other couch to Ronnie, who had passed out as well. I promptly passed out like half a minute later. We're getting old.

Saturday night, Ronnie and watched more tv and then played some Wii Play. Alex got there and it turned to Wii Sports where he tried to have the Lil' Jon Mii play on both tennis teams. This resulted in Ronnie and I playing a nice game of Wii Tennis with each other while Alex flailed around the basement trying to play as well. They also decided to start Wii Fit accounts -- and Alex cheats at yoga. He also passed out again after we pulled out the bed-couch thing and Ronnie and I sat in a cocoon of blankets and played GTAIV. He showed us the really skanky lap dance too. I briefly wondered how many gamers spent like all of Niko's money on that so they could watch it over and over again and then I shuddered and turned my mind to other things.

jdjasfkjdfjka ewwwwww boys. XD

P.S. Question to the people who have a DS. Has anyone played The World Ends With You...? If so, is it any good?

It's just not the same. D:

[ smt - persona ]
I've been telling myself since last August when Persona 3 came out, "IT'S THE SAME, IT REALLY IS." But it's not. It's almost taken me a year to fully ADMIT AND ACCEPT IT. But it's not. Especially since I've been replaying the first game for the GVGH '08. :(

Now I love me some Persona 3, but every time I play it I get bitter that Kazuma Kaneko didn't do the character/persona/demon design for it. D: His style and his designs make me absolutely giddy and the lack of them makes Persona 3 just not Persona to me. When I played the first two (oh man, and Digital Devil Saga, Nocturne and Devil Summoner) I was like, "HAH OMG THESE CHARACTERS ARE SO SLICK I WANT TO BE THEIR FRIENDS" (Reiji/Chris, Eriko/Ellen, Masao/Mark, Hidehiko/Brad, Eikichi, Katsuya, Ulala, Argilla, Heat, Cielo, Narumi, Chiaki, Isamu -- also, plz to be giving me Nanjou/Nate's TO THE #1 jacket, thx. XD) and then in Persona 3 it was, "LOL they're kind of cute." (Mitsuru, Akihiko and Junpei... and Koromaru, the dog.)

I know Persona 3 got a whole bunch of new fans on the bandwagon, which is good, of course. But said fans will never play the other games because they're way too hard to find now. They're also not like Persona 3, and therefore won't be enjoyed by new fans (unless those new fans are super cool and all that).

Looking on the completed listing for Persona on ebay... there is a copy of Revelations: Persona that just went for $107.50 (sweet shit, another one went for $160.00) and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, for $79.99.

Blockbuster was where I first heard about Persona, in like 1999, and that was because I saw an ad for it on the back of the box of another game (I think it was Kartia). It was bascially like, "LOL CONTACT DEMONS, SUMMON SHIT FROM YOUR BLACK, BLACK SOUL. YAY!" And it had a couple of the characters on it. That was what caught my eye. The character design. I hunted for that game for-freakin'-ever. I found it at a flea market in Florida. I started playing it and I couldn't stop. The characters were seriously amusing, the music was awesome and the storyline was effing crazy, just like I like it. The game was also really time-consuming and addictive. When I beat it I was all, "THAT WAS SO KICKASS." And I took the plastic cup I was drinking from and wrote the date and "PERSONA CUP!" on it.

With Persona 3 I'm just like, "Hehe, that's pretty cool."

In the other Persona games there was no:
-- LOL SHOOT YOURSELF
-- YOU CAN ONLY FIGHT AT MIDNIGHT IN THIS TOWER OVER RIGHT HERE, YES RIGHT HERE. THAT'S IT.
-- YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE YOUR OWN PERSONA, EVERYONE ELSE CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT.
-- WE'RE DIVERSE, WE FIGHT WITH A KID AND A DOG AND A ROBOT.

But it had what I loved, which was:
-- MY BROTHER IS AN ASSHOLE (aka SARDINIA-CEST)
-- ZOMBIES ATE MY BUTLER
-- SHIT THERE IS A THING COMING OUT OF ME AND KILLING THINGS.
-- WAIT I CAN CHANGE THIS THING COMING OUT OF ME TO A DIFFERENT THING. OH AND I CHANGE YOURS TOO, PARTY.
-- CREEPY LITTLE TWIN GIRLS, MY FRIEND CRUSH FRIEND MARY IS A BASKETCASE and BRAD'S IN JAIL AGAIN.
-- WHY DOES THAT GUY HAVE AN X ON HIS HEAD?
-- Also, WHERE THE FUCK DID MARK GET A BATTLEAXE?
-- THAT DOG THAT WOULDN'T SHUT HIS YAPPER ON THE WORLD MAP.
-- FIGHTS EVERYWHERE IN THE MALL AND THE SCHOOL AND YOUR MOM GET THAT DAMN BUTTERFLY OFF OF MY HEAD.
-- THAT DEMON LOOKS... LOOKS LIKE A PEEN.

And that's only the first Persona game. o_o

(If I had a dollar for every time a demon got pissed at me cause I let Mark dance, I would be RICH, BITCH.)

Persona 3 = me also missing the ability to contact demons. :| AND OH MY GOD THE PHARMACY SONG. I MISS YOU.

Sure, Revelations: Persona isn't as fancy-schmancy and OH WOW VOICE ACTING and all that. But to me it's Persona. Is this what old school Final Fantasy fans feel like? :O

(VALERIE. I FOUND THE PHARMACY FLASH! "Don't you know that I used to know karate, I'll punch you in your pee-pee, or I could just CALL. THE. COPS.")

oh hay RELATIVE?

djfkdsjf that movie was even more amazing the second time around. I also caught the fact that Alexandria liked the slave and the indian because she "knew" them. The others she wasn't so sure of (orderly/Darwin & "pirate" actor/Luigi). Lee Pace crying is the most hypnotizing thing ever. Oh oh oh and him in makeup. And the look he gets before the masked bandit is suddenly french. YES. I CAN'T YES ENOUGH. I think my favorite line/delivery is: "IT SAYS ALL OF THAT ON THAT LITTLE LOCKET...?" And Alexandria when she flips out over the dead body and is all, "WAKE UP OR THEY'LL CUT YOU UP."

OH MAAAAAAAAAN. Mia Michael's killed it on SYTYCD last week with the group routine. I was so happy to see Mark leading (he was so perfectly creepy for the role) and the song (THAT SONG, I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE USED THAT SONG <3). Not to mention the whole feel of it. It took Wade's zombies and Mia's own Danny-in-a-skirt routine and threw them together and added a whole crack-circus theme. I loved it.

PARTAKE IN THE CRAZY-MAZINGNESS.

...and I've started posting on IMDb forums. This... this is bad. D: So far I've dropped posts in the Clue, So You Think You Can Dance, Stephen King, Bag of Bones, Wall-E and I Love the new Millennium forums. Hehehehe. And you can bet your ass I will be all over The Long Walk board when that jank goes up.

EW.com is doing their NEW CLASSIC lists and they released the first 25 of the top 50 for the NEW CLASSIC VIDEO GAMES. Silent Hill 2 made the list at 44! :O THAT EXCITES ME. Psychonauts at 43! KOTOR at 30! BIOSHOCK AT 28! :D

I will be shocked if number one isn't something like GTA or Halo -- or if those two aren't at least in the top five.

(LOL, iReporters on Starfbucks closing a number of their stores and why a lot of them don't give a shit:

"I already have to spend $4 a gallon on gas, why would I spend $4 for 12 oz of coffee?"

"You're kidding me, right? Anyone heard of the Mr. Coffee machine? You can get one for $15, and set it to have your coffee ready for you when you roll out of bed, then it turns off an hour later so as not to burn your house down should you forget to turn it off."

I also will never forget someone's awesome quote on Time Magazine's website when all Starbucks stores closed for three hours one day for mandatory employee retraining or some shit awhile back: "I'm not sure why it's going to take them three hours to learn how to press a button.")

Hur hur, I personally give a big SHOVE OFF WHATEVER to every single summer movie except this one.

I am so excited for this movie it's not even funny. Haven't seen Iron Man, haven't seen Indy, haven't seen Caspian. Wanted to, kind of, sure (Indy cause it's Indy and Caspian cause it's Ben Barnes, hay). Pretty sure I won't see Hulk or even Batman (OH NOES). But I hate movie theaters. I hate people. I especially get annoyed with children. But I will go see this movie opening weekend (and it will probably even be Sunday morning, at that) -- BECAUSE IT LOOKS AMAZING. And Pixar has NEVER LET DOWN BEFORE. And Wall E is the CUTEST EFFING THING EVER OHMYGAWD LOOK AT HIM.

I was in the drive-through line at McDonald's today and I saw a guy sitting on a curb waiting for a bus and scratching a lottery ticket. For some reason, as I sat there watching him, I had the craziest and most gigantic urge to want him to win. Like I just wanted to watch him jump up and start cheering cause he won a million bucks. And it's a Monday. So I don't know where this sudden bout of HUZZAH OTHER PEOPLE!!11 came from, but it felt good. I was sad for him when he shrugged and threw the ticket away. D:

Last Thursday I met Emily/[info]lusa_thul at Subway since my work is right near her house and we sat around and blabbed about D*C and costumes and what we still have to get done. Then we figured out what date we could have our MORE-BLOOD-ON-THIS SESSION -- which will be a day we set aside for bloodying up her Hank Olson shirt and my Peter Mcvries shirt (more blood!) and wrecking the hell out of our Shmi and Padme zombie costumes. XD

Saturday I went to the COMPANY PICNIC!!1 -- it was actually really nice outside and I had fun. :O! Then Saturday night, Ronnie (OMG [info]gruppe_sechs) and I played Rock Band with Ashley (OMG [info]see_aphy_be) and her friend Ashley, LOL~ it was fun and the Ashley's were probably like RONNIE AND HEATHER ARE SUCH TOOLS cause after the song it would cut back to us talking over the headset about like... To Wong Foo and me quoting the "LITTLE LATIN BOY IN DRAG, WHY ARE YOU CRYING?" line. I love that line. LOVE IT.

Ronnie and I also played some multiplayer Grand Theft Auto IV with Ed/[info]zekkxy, which was hilarious. Cause we amused ourselves by jumping out of helicopters and seeing how awesome my character model looked when hit with a car and then listening to our stupid taunts ("HEY QUE PASA????//") and then when we actually went and played a deathmatch with other people everyone was DOING AWESOME -- except me, of course. LOL. Although, I did get two kills and the "KILLED A ROCKSTAR EMPLOYEE" achievement. So HUZZAH! XD

AHAHAHAHAHA, VALERIE, IT'S OUR FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME. XD ...besides Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, naturally.

ALSO, JARED PADALECKI. I WISH I WAS THIS CAR BECAUSE THEN-- (you can finish this sentence, because I think you know where I'm going with it.) MUAHAHAHA I AM WRONG AND I AM SO SORRY FOR IT NO WAIT, I'M NOT. XD

HA.

So apparently I now know, thanks to Alex, that Michelle thinks it's super hot when Niko rides up on a Faggio. Things Michelle doesn't find hot are being shot six times with a shotgun and getting thrown off the Faggio only to be hit by a taxi cab in the middle of the road.

JFDSFJKSJFDFKJSDKJDKS <33333

Last night Ronnie and I were on Xbox Live at the same time so we started playing multiplayer on GTAIV -- and we didn't even end up playing any of the game multiplayer modes we just rode around the city in Free Mode (basically you have no mission or anything, you just mess around). It was AMAZING. My dude looked like effing Hootie from Hootie and the Blowfish, yo. First we rode around in a car with me hanging out the window like a tool, then we messed with some cops -- DUDE, then we took motorcycles down into the subway station underground and rode them all over the tracks and stuff. Ronnie also shot some dude in the station and over the headset during this I hear:

"I don't like your jacket."

LOLOLOLOL~ <3 We also went into one of the strip clubs and danced ourselves and by danced I mean we stood up by the poles and hit the crouch button really fast so it looked like we were kind of doing something like dancing. XD

I absolutely cannot wait to get into multiplayer matches with 16 people. IT WILL BE EPIC. COPS AND CROOKS. <3

I love all the tiny little details in this game. Some people have been pointing some out on message boards. Here is someawesome random little crap~ <3333 )

I myself witnessed some stupid whore on a cell phone hit a person crossing the street while driving and a dude in the car behind her got out, pulled her out of her car and beat the crap out of her right there in the middle of the street. I stole the money she dropped and stole her car (GPS SYSTEM <3) as well. That's what you get for not paying attention and blabbing on your phone while driving, bitch! :D

This kind of crap didn't happen in the past GTA games, so to see the extra effort they went to for this one = love. Especially since every time they've released a GTA in the past I've always been like, "DAMN THEY'VE ADDED SO MUCH THERE'S NOTHING ELSE THEY COULD DO!"

They proved me wrong. Again. <3

Oh my gawwwwwwwwd becky look at her butt = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_theft_auto_iv#Reception

I am sitting here with the special edition in my lap and I am cradling it like a CUTE LITTLE BABY. Except the game doesn't whine and poo in it's pants. SO IT WINS.

When I got to Gamestop I had my little slip in my hand and the guy was like, "So you're here to pick up Mario Kart Wii or Grand Theft Auto..." And I go, "GRAND THEFT AUTO SPECIAL EDITION" and slam my slip on the counter and he's like, "AWESOME!!1" and we both cackle and cackle.

(I listened to the soundtrack cd on the way home and the song "No Sex For Ben" by The Rapture is the funniest/most classic song ever. If I was making a fanmix for Ben Skywalker it would be the first thing on there. Although... IT IS GOING ON THE JACEN SOUNDCRACK MIX. XD)

LOL HAI FROM PITTSBURGH.

Duane, Mom and I took a trip up here this weekend to harass Valerie ([info]zoopiglet) and Brian ([info]ben_ethus). We've eaten at Sonic and bought crazy cupcakes and we even played a good amount of Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 (MYSTICAL NINJA~!). Oh and we planned some wedding stuff too. But mostly acted like tools.

I have also been annoying the crap out of Evil, who is the cat that Valerie took with her when she moved out. He is out here right now in the living room with me sniffing me like, "WAT I KINDA REMEMBER YOU BUT OMG WTF YOU SMELL LIKE ANOTHER CAT I ONCE KNEW AND A SILLY NEW CAT WTF IS THIS??//"

Oh oh oh I also saw some more of Resident Evil 2 and we had a good LOL at Leon. He is a total dorkwad in this game. Especially in his alternate gangster/leather daddy outfit. MUAHHA~

I guess I should go to bed now. Or something. Hehehehe.

Reaper was good last night. I really hope they renew this show cause all the really crazy shit is going down now. The Devil totally played Sam like a bitch. Also, Ben and Sock taping their faces all up was hilarious. OMG and when Ben pulls out their apartment contract signed by Satan and Sock looks at it and goes, "SATIN?" XD

What is this shit about Miley Cyrus writing a memoir? Isn't she like 15? Is the book gonna be two chapters, maybe three? I don't get it. Her biggest demographic doesn't want to read that kind of crap.

HAY ANYONE WITH A MASTER REPLICA SABER: If anyone has one of the MR lightsabers (that's not the Yoda one), could you plzzzzzzz tell me how long the blade is? Like from where it comes out of the hilt to the tip? I tried looking online for the info but it always tells me how long the whole thing is. Or it talks about Yoda's saber, which I don't give a balls about. Sorry Yoda. :P

AND DEAR ANYONE WHO EVER OWNED A SUPER NINTENDO: I need your help before I go absolutely batshit. There was a game I used to play at my friend's house and all I remember is a part (actually, the whole game might be like this) where you're a dude (the POV is third person, always behind and sort of above this dude, I think) on a big yellow and red (I think) grid and you are collecting balls. The grid always looks like it stretches over the horizon. All I remember is running on that grid and collecting those fucking balls and the sky was blue and WTF GAME WAS THIS? D: IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS. I went through the whole list of SNES games on wikipedia and nothing is jumping out at me.

I think it was on SNES -- I don't remember them having a Nintendo.

3-D Worldrunner looks familiar -- but I don't remember the info at the bottom of the screen and the colors were different than what I remember. I don't remember killing anything either. I just remember collecting balls. Maybe what I'm thinking of was a bonus level on a game. WHAT GAME THOUGH?????? D:

AND I HAVE MY DISNEY RECAP FROM OCTOBER COMPLETELY DONE! LOL~ now I just need to resize pictures (now that I think my desktop computer is safe again O_O) and I will be able to relive the crackmagic and share it with you all.

Haha~ I love my Sci-Fi Literature class. This is my final exam:

Choose one of the following popular television series or films. Using your knowledge of the definitions and subgenres of science fiction as discussed in this class, write a clear, well-organized essay that argues how the title you chose is or is not science fiction. Please begin your essay with a summary of the major elements of the work you have chosen. Please make specific references to the literary elements of science fiction and please cite specific examples from the works to support your argument.

Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Star Trek, Stargate, Star Wars, Dr. Who, The X Files, Babylon 5, Farscape, E.T., Close Encounters of the Third Kind, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Men in Black, Back to the Future, The Terminator, The Matrix

I just had a joygasm. Like the biggest one ever.

ALSO, thanks to my federal tax return, I will have $1100 more paid off of my kitty bills and I will be holding the special edition of GRAND THEFT AUTO IV in my hands a WEEK FROM NOW. Aaaaand I will be paying the state $42. :|

JOYGASM x2! These scores also make me PEE MY PANTS OF GLEE.

The May 2008 issue of Official Xbox Magazine (UK) published the first Grand Theft Auto IV review, giving the game the maximum score of 10/10. The magazine also stated that the game has an "amazingly realistic world; stunning action set pieces; genuinely engrossing storyline; hugely entertaining multiplayer;" and that it is "vast in every respect".

The June issue of Official PlayStation Magazine (Australia) gave Grand Theft Auto IV a perfect score of 10/10, explaining in their verdict: "The scope and scale of GTA IV is beyond anything gaming has ever had to offer". Throughout the review they refer to GTA IV as "a living and breathing world where anything is possible".

PlayStation Official Magazine (UK) also gave the game 10/10 in their May 2008 issue.

The French publication of the PSM3 magazine gave the game 20 scores out of 20, praising it: "enormous, gigantic, violent and furious; simply the best game of all time".

The film magazine Empire gave the game a perfect 5 in its game reviews section, calling it "damn-near perfect".

Xbox World 360 gave the game a 98% rating, mentioning: "everything we were entitled to expect, and yet somehow impossibly more"...

STEPHEN KING ON VIDEO GAMES. We had to do a speech in our 12th grade English class like right in the last week of high school FOREVER AND EVER. It was our final -- and this is exactly what I did my speech on. XD

The first thing I said was: "How many of you have played video games from the Grand Theft Auto series?" I got like more than half the class with hands raised. "Now, how many of you have gone out and killed someone because of it?" No hands and lots of wide eyes. I went on after that to bitch about stupid, ignorant parents and stupid ignorant parent's hatred of video games. I GOT ME AN A.

In other news, I have a mild crush on Chef Ramsey. I'm serious. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's the way he calls everyone donkeys, or the way he says awesome phrases like, "Oh fuck me sideways!" Which, of course, comes out as "Oh *BLEEP* me sideways!" But dude, he can totally cook his crazy gourmet food for me whenever and I will eat it no matter how weird it is. Padma Lakshmi is hot too (I love her scar), but Top Chef just doesn't have that ANGRY TRASH CAN KICKING EFFING DONKEY SHUT-IT-DOWN YOU STUPID BARBIE vibe that Hell's Kitchen does. <3

So my plan for Myst (my #2 game on the GVGH08) was to go out and buy the el cheapo DS version that was supposed to come out tomorrow so I could play through that before going to bed for a couple nights -- except they pushed the release date back to May 13th or something. And my PC and laptop are both "too new" to run the original game. I also don't have the right graphics card to run realMyst. This means I have to go up on Mom's computer and play it.

And that means either trying to install it on her computer, or trying to get my gametap password sent to me. Cause I haven't been on that thing in so long that I don't remember it. I'm not even sure I remember my screenname and that's the lame part -- to get them to remind you of that you have to call them. :|

YO, STAR WARS COSPLAYERS AT DRAGON*CON THIS YEAR: Anyone know when you're wearing your stuffs yet? I think the Star Wars Zombies group is gonna be Saturday night -- but what about all the Expanded Universe costumes? ANYONE KNOW WHEN THEY'RE WEARING THEIRS YET? :O

Got my hair cut and colored this morning. I am in love with it cause whenever I got my hair dyed it was usually for conventions and it came out like picture #1 under the cut. It was red omg! This time I decided to go with something not so LOUD -- and it turns out looking more like TK's than the color before! And I didn't even mean for it to cause I just wanted it dyed something different. :O So yeah, #1 is the old color I used to get, #2 is what my hair looked like for the past couple months -- brassy and blonde and like six different shades of color and #3 is what it looks like RIGHT NOW! This makes me want to go take Tenel Ka cosplay pictures. XD ANYONE UP FOR A PHOTOSHOOT?! MUAHAHA~

THIS IS ME. MY HAIR IS LIKE A PENNY. )

I beat Laura Bow today! It only took me a couple hours. This means GAME #01 is complete! Also, ALL THE WAYS TO DIE IN LAURA BOW: THE COLONEL'S BEQUEST (the death at 7:30 is one of my favorites <3). This is my fun thing to share with you now that I've beaten the first game on my list.

I love the awesome 80's sound effects and snarky little YOU HAVE DIED, DUMBASS notes after you make Laura bite it. ("WAY TO GO SHERLOCK, YOU JUST INVENTED THE TRASH COMPACTOR.") Also, in my Great Video Game Heist of 2008, I have one GAME OVER on my TALLY OF THE DEAD. I forgot about the person grabbing you out of the closet (it's at 4:37 in the video above AND IT SCARED THE BEEJEEZUS OUT OF ME). And I will admit that the axe on the suit of armor almost got me. Finding new and exciting ways to die in Laura Bow/King's Quest/etc. was always a highlight of these games! :D

I have a feeling the TALLY OF THE DEAD will be well over 100 after I finish with all thirty games -- I mean, there's games like Myst and Hotel Dusk where it's almost impossible to die -- but then there's games like the Grand Theft Auto, Eternal Darkness and Resident Evil 4 -- all of which I will definitely die 948920459348 times in. XD

And I need to catch up on the rest of my Top Model recaps on [info]franklin_sings! XD

[ games - s stands for sex ]
So I have decided to play (and beat) 30 of my favorite games in chronological order in the upcoming months. Why? Cause they aren't getting any love by just sitting there and me picking them up every once in a while. And they'll remind me of all the things I <3. It'll be called The Great Video Game Heist of 2008. And sure, heist is specifically defined as a robbery, but how damn cool does it sound? Mmmhmmm. (Wait, the heist is the fact that they will be robbing me of all my time THAT'S IT! <3)

I will be playing games on the PC, Playstation, Playstation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Gamecube, DS -- I don't have any favorites on the Wii yet. And I don't know if I have all the cords out to get my Nintendo working. Not like I would be able to beat Adventures in the Magic Kingdom by myself anyways. XD

THE LIST. LET'S GO. )

I'm not sure when this will start. But it will be crazy, and I will try to make it FAST. Even though that is impossible since about 8 - 10 of these require like 9384092384902 hours of gameplay. D: MUAHAHHA~

If I need more for some reason, I'll be adding the Katamari games and the Kingdom Hearts games, along with the SSX games and Fable -- but I really think these will hold me over for now. O_O

P.S. Postcards From Yo Momma is a classic site -- just as awesome as Passive Aggressive Notes. This one is basically emails from Moms everywhere. I love Mom emails.

These are two of my favorite submitted ones, especially the first one. )

I can't wait till April 29th. O_O When I saw the WANTED posters at Gamestop the other day I almost flipped my shit. I WANT NIKO'S HANGING IN MY ROOM.

And LOLOLOLOLOL I love Rockstar so much -- "Virtually none of the characters from the previous games are returning, as a lot of them are dead anyway."

DAMN!: "... to get from one side of the new and improved Liberty City to the other will take you at least an hour."

-- A Rockstar spokesperson claimed, "you can basically play the game from beginning to end without a single load screen." (YES.)

-- The phone can be used outside of vehicles to listen to one of the 18 radio stations. (<3!!! ALSO, 18 STATIONS! OMG.)

-- Instead of utilizing the "Pay 'N' Spray" as in previous games, Niko has to realistically disguise himself by clandestinely changing vehicles in empty areas such as parking garages. When on foot, police will not shoot at Niko unless he has committed a serious offence. Additionally, pedestrians with cellphones can now report crimes. (WTF PEDS HELL NO XD)

-- Pedestrians and motorists will often act as good Samaritans and aid characters that Niko is attacking or carjacking. (BEST STEP OFF, CRACKAH.)

-- Multiplayer will be a feature of GTA IV but will not be an MMO, as noted by Dan Houser. It will be accessible from Niko's mobile phone and is aiming for up to 16 players, with a possibility of open-ended gameplay and exploring the whole city. (BRING IT ON.)

-- As part of GTA IV's new physics, the player will be able to hear and feel the bass of vehicles passing by with their radio turned on.

-- VLADIVOSTOK = LOL YES PLZ.

I didn't think the GTA games could get more all out, but I WAS WRONG. And THIS GAME LOOKS AMAZING. D:

P.S. HAHAHAHAHHAH DFJKFJKFJD OMGOMGOGMOGMGM AHHAHAHAHAHAH -- Although the exact details of the role of the Internet in the game are being kept secret, it has been revealed that Niko can access the internet from various cyber cafés, one of which is called "TW@"... SHIT I JUST SPIT MY DRINK OUT. XD

P.S.S. The fact that one of the shows to see in Liberty City is called "BANGING TRASH CAN LIDS FOR AN HOUR" kills me. I love their sense of humor -- it's so mean and bitchy. D: HEART.

So this weekend was pretty lazy, yet still pretty awesome. Because lazy = awesome.

Friday night consisted of Erin, Ronnie and Alex coming over to play Rock Band (Jeremy was sick D:) -- Erin sang most of the time, because the rest of us were like "OH HELL NO I AIN'T SINGING IN FRONT OF PEOPLE." I started on drums and Ronnie on bass and Alex on guitar. Alex was playing on expert and the rest of us were pussing out and playing on like easy/medium. Why? Because we could.

I ended up singing "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria, Ronnie helped Erin out on vocals with "Ten Speed (of God's Blood and Burial)" and we made Alex sing "Wonderwall" by Oasis. So we all ended up singing at some point, which was fun. Although, Alex getting on drums and trying it on expert -- then bitching whenever one of us would save him with our overdrive and then pretty much failing "Dani California" for us = THANKS WTF.

Saturday, I pretty much sat around and watched tv and played some Rock Band. Then Saturday night Alex and I both realized we were bored and decided to watch a cheesy, horrible movie. We discussed what movie would fit that awesome genre until he asked "OMG HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE WIZARD?" I hadn't. He had it on VHS and he brought it over. Let me tell you about this movie.

The Wizard is from 1989 and it is basically a big advertisement for Universal Studios and Nintendo:

The Wizard, also known as Joy Stick Heroes, is a 1989 movie starring Fred Savage, Luke Edwards, and Jenny Lewis. The film follows three runaway children as they travel to California so the youngest, who has a condition that makes him emotionally withdrawn, can compete in the Nintendo World Video Game Championships. The movie was North America's introduction to one of the best selling video games of all time, Super Mario Bros. 3.

Seriously, I'm not lying. It's like OMG LOOK YOU JUST PAID MONEY TO SIT IN A THEATER AND YOU GOT A PEEK AT SUPER MARIO BROTHERS 3 O SHIT! I probably would've done it, what am I saying? D:

Anyways, after that awesome awesome work of art was over we ended up watching some of the episodes he hadn't seen of the third season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia -- namely, the one where Charlie almost marries a 12-year-old Korean girl, the one where Dennis and Dee's mom dies, the one where the McPoyle's hold them all hostage at Paddy's and the one where -- oh hell, THE ALUMINUM MONSTER VS. FATTY MAGOO. Which is an amazing episode, if only for the part where Dennis busts into Fatty Magoo's office at the end in his dress and makeup and lots of uber-fake boobage. "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING HERE? *flourish*" (This was after we watched a couple episodes the night before with Erin and Ronnie like "SWEET DEE'S DATING A RETARDED PERSON" and "FRANK SETS SWEET DEE ON FIRE"~ XD)

And then after those it was like 2am. But The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was on tv. Those can't be passed up. So we watched a couple of those before he went home. Oh Will Smith, how we love thee.

Sunday was great cause my mom and I basically laid around and watched Cops all day on G4. People are so stupid. "OMG THIS WEED IN MY PANTS. UH, THESE ARE MY FRIEND'S PANTS AND I BORROWED THEM. I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS IN THERE." Dur dur dur dur dur dur durrrrrr. But I love Cops. It's like one of those shows that you watch and another episode comes on afterwards and you're like, "OKAY JUST ONE MORE." And then after that it comes on yet again and it's like, "...OKAY JUST ONE MORE THIS TIME." Because it is awesome mindless entertainment. I love watching people makes asses out of themselves while trying to get out of the fact that they broke the law. "DUR I DIDN'T DO IT, I SWEAR!!1" TOOLBOXES.

And now it is Monday. D: Luckily Monday is almost Tuesday, and by that I mean I AM HOME FROM WORK FOR THE DAY. :D

I FEEL YOU, SONIC.

[ king - sowisa ]
I realized I never properly pimped this beast out on here -- Castle Rock. Kind of a Stephen King board that'll have real discussions and stuff on his works one day -- but for now [info]see_aphy_be and I were pretty much using it to get all of the King characters voices out of our heads. King characters are really fun to RP. Especially when they have no idea what's going on and run into dead friends of theirs. GO ANGST AND AWKWARDNESS!

Saturday night was pretty funny -- Ronnie, Erin and Jeremy came over and brought me Burger King cause they knew I couldn't leave my dressed/drugged up cat (THX U AGAIN, D00DZ <3) and then we watched the end of Wicker Man (the Nic Cage one), which we made fun of, naturally. "BEES BEES IN MY EYES BEES IN MY EYEEYEYEYEYESSSSSS!!!11" And then we played the new Super Smash Brothers and Ronnie killed me while we were trying to get Sonic by playing the "omg story mode" by singing his own Sweeney Todd song -- "I FEEEEEEEL YOOOOOOOU SOOOONIC~~~" I woke up Sunday morning singing it. D:

At least we got up to Luigi (we'll get you one day, Sonic! :O) and I got to see his frighteningly fruity dance moves. I love him so hard. LOVE, I TELL YOU.

LOL Hackers is on.

[ smt - persona ]
So I went to the doctors on Wednesday and got totally violated examined. MY LITTLE CYST FRIEND IS GONE. And Maeby is wandering around while there is someone to watch her, and crated at night and while everyone is at work. But her stitches and staples are going to be in until Monday (or possibly only until tomorrow), so she gets to continue to wear her wifebeater and collar.

MAEBY PICTURES! Including a pretty graphic one of her staples and stuff. O_O That shit is long. )

But overall, I think I'm doing a bit better than I was at this point like a week and a half ago. Actually, I think I'm doing a lot better, so SUCK IT, ANYTHING BAD THAT HAPPENED. I have forgotten you and moved on. I've also cleaned the basement and moved some crap around, straightened my room (which still needs a really good cleaning, but I had to get rid of some things) and decided I need a haircut/color/something. Nothing major but I'm sick of the split ends and the washed out blonde color. It's time to change some things, dammit, cause I'm hot (haha ya rite) and right now I feel like I have the balls to show the world that.

(Bet you guys didn't know I had balls, mmmhmm? I DO. THEY'RE INSIDE OF ME AND I RECENTLY BANISHED A CYST FROM ONE OF THEM. :P)

Haha, Reaper was awesome on Thursday.

Also, yay Saturday! I possibly plan on ripping up Rock Band, Bioshock (fourth playthrough!) and some Persona while Maeby sits by me on the couch. I am quite tempted to start a new game of the first Persona. Cause Mark and Brad are the OTP to end all OTPs and I watched a youtube video of Chunky turning into the penis-monster during the Snow Queen Quest and got the sudden urge to want to scribble my initials all over huge trees with massive amounts of pink leaves. And to get a yellow hat and a scarf with the number one on it -- oh, oh and to carve an X in my forehead. Possibly get a hickey so I can wear a bandaid over it too and cook like shit (Dr. Beverly, you skank). Oh, Persona how I love thee.

Maybe I will do a speed-playthrough of Silent Hill 2 as well. I haven't had my fix lately. *shudders*

P.S. ANOTHER EFFING REMAKE. THIS TIME IT'S Friday the 13th. And Jared Padalecki is in final negotiations to star in it -- according to this, it sounds like he'll be playing some sort of authority figure and not a young annoying thing, but what the shit. Another remake? And Padalecki, another something-horror-related? I KNOW YOU ARE BETTER THAN THAT.

All the little fangirls are all, "OMG WELL HORROR IS HIS BEST GENRE~!!1" Hey honeys, sadly, horror is HIS ONLY GENRE.
